11105 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid told us, Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq told us, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah told us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Layered."
11106 - My father told me, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, known as al-Dashtaki, told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far told us, from his father, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas regarding His saying: "Layered," [meaning]: Some of it has been layered upon some.
His saying, the Exalted: "Marked by your Lord."
11107 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Marked," he says: Designated.
11108 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab ibn al-Harith told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Marked," he said: The marking is a whiteness mixed with redness.

11111 - My father told us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sa'di told us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far told us, from his father, from al-Rabi': "Marked," upon them is the mark of stripes.
11112 - My father told us, Abu 'Umayr ibn al-Nahhas told us, Damrah told us, from Ibn Shawdhab, from Matar regarding His saying: "Marked by your Lord," [meaning]: circled with redness.
His saying, the Exalted: "And it is not far from the wrongdoers."
11113 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "And it is not far from the wrongdoers," he said: It serves as a warning for Quraysh.

١١١٠٦ - حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي الدَّشْتَكِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ قَوْلُهُ: مَنْضُودٍ: قَدْ نَضَدَ بَعْضُهُ عَلَى بَعْضٍ.

١١١٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عن ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: مُسَوَّمَةً يَقُولُ مُعَلَّمَةٌ.
١١١٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: مُسَوَّمَةً قَالَ: التَّسْوِيمُ: بَيَاضٌ فِي حُمْرَةٍ.
١١١٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَوْلُهُ: مُسَوَّمَةً حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ رَآهَا أَنَّهَا حِجَارَةٌ مُطَوَّقَةٌ عَلَيْهَا نصح من حمرة ليست كحجارتكم هَذِهِ.
١١١١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: مُسَوَّمَةً أَيْ مُطَوَّقَةٌ بِسَوَادٍ وَحُمْرَةٍ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ.
١١١١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّعْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ الْمُسَوَّمَةُ عَلَيْهَا سِيَمَا خُطُوطٍ.
١١١١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو عُمَيْرِ بْنُ النَّحَّاسِ، ثنا ضَمْرَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ منطقة بِحُمْرَةٍ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٍ
١١١١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَوْلُهُ: وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٍ قال: يرهب بها قريش.
