are gathered in one place; the caller hears you, and the gaze penetrates you. The wretched is one who was wretched in his mother's womb, and the prosperous is one who learned from the admonition of others.

11223 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: These two are among the hidden matters. "Then among them will be the wretched and the prosperous"; they are a people from among the major sinners of the people of this Qiblah whom Allah will punish in the Fire as He wills for their sins, then He will grant permission for intercession on their behalf, so the believers will intercede for them, and they will be brought out of the Fire, and He will cause them to enter Paradise. He named them 'the wretched' when He punished them in the Fire, and He said: "As for those who were wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is sighing and wailing."

His saying, the Exalted: "As for those who were wretched, they will be in the Fire."

11224 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "For them therein is sighing and wailing," he says: A loud sound.

11225 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "For them therein is sighing," he said: The sighing (zafir) is in the throat. It was also narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas similar to the statement of al-Dahhak from Ibn 'Abbas.

His saying: "and wailing."

11226 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "and wailing (shahiq)," he said: A faint sound.

11227 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "For them therein is sighing and wailing," he said: And the wailing (shahiq) is in the chest.

His saying, the Exalted: "Abiding therein."

11228 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Yahya ibn Dinar told us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: "Abiding therein," meaning: They will not die.

His saying, the Exalted: "As long as the heavens and the earth endure."

11229 - It was mentioned from Sufyan ibn Husayn, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "As long as the heavens and the earth endure," he said: For every Garden, there is a heaven and an earth.
