The Second Aspect:

11283 - My father Qabisah told us, Sufyan told us, from Talhah ibn 'Amr, from 'Ata' regarding "But they will not cease to differ," he said: The difference of religions.

11284 - It was mentioned from Abu Salamah al-Jubari, Mu'tamir told us, from his father, from al-Hasan regarding "But they will not cease to differ" in [their] livelihood, some of them are made subservient to others. And he said: Differing regarding forgiveness and mercy.

His saying, the Exalted: "Except whom your Lord has given mercy"

11285 - My father told us, Muhammad ibn 'Imran ibn Abi Layla told us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah told us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Except whom your Lord has given mercy," he said: The people of truth.

11286 - My father told us, Hisham ibn 'Umarah told us, al-Walid told us, from Shu'ayb ibn Ruzayq, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani, from 'Ikrimah regarding "But they will not cease to differ," then He exempted from the differing those who have received mercy.

11287 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj told us, Ibn 'Ulayyah told us, from Mansur ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, he said: I asked al-Hasan about "Except whom your Lord has given mercy," he said: [They are] not differing.

11288 - It was read to Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la, Ibn Wahb told us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, Talhah ibn 'Amr told me that he heard 'Ata' saying about "But they will not cease to differ, except whom your Lord has given mercy," he said: The Jews, the Christians, the Magians, and the Hanafiyyah, and they are those whom your Lord has given mercy.

11289 - Al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah told us, Yahya ibn Yaman told us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ikrimah, regarding the saying of Allah: "Except whom your Lord has given mercy," he said: The people of the Qiblah. It was narrated from Mujahid that he said: The people of Islam.

11290 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Safwan told us, al-Walid told us, Khulayd ibn 'Ali and Sa'id ibn Bashir told us, from Qatadah regarding "Except whom your Lord has given mercy," he said: They are the people of Allah's mercy, the people of the Jama'ah (the community), even if their lands and bodies are separated. And the people of His disobedience are the people of division, even if their lands and bodies are gathered together.

١١٢٨٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَبِيصَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَلا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ قَالَ: اخْتِلافُ الْمِلَلِ.

١١٢٨٤ - ذُكِرَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْجُوبَارِيِّ، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَلا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ فِي الرِّزْقِ يُسَخَّرُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ وَقَالَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ فِي الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ

١١٢٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ قَالَ:

أَهْلُ الْحَقِّ.

١١٢٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، وَلا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ ثُمَّ اسْتَثْنَى مِنَ الاخْتِلافِ مَنْ رَحِمَ.

١١٢٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ: إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ قَالَ: غَيْرُ مختلف

١١٢٨٨ - قرى عَلَى يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَطَاءً يَقُولُ وَلا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ قال اليهود والنصارى والمجوس والحنفيه وهم الذين رحم ربك الخيفيه

١١٢٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ قَالَ: أَهْلُ الْقِبْلَةِ.

وَرُوِيَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: أَهْلُ الإِسْلامِ.

١١٢٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، ثنا خُلَيْدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ إِلا مَنْ رَحِمَ رَبُّكَ قَالَ: أَهْلُ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ أَهْلُ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَإِنْ تَفَرَّقَتْ دِيَارُهُمْ وَأَبْدَانُهُمْ وَأَهْلُ مَعْصِيَتِهِ أَهْلُ فُرْقَةٍ وَإِنْ أُجْمِعَتْ دِيَارَهُمْ وَأَبْدَانُهُمْ.
