10035 - My father narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Hamzah ibn Isma'il narrated to us, he said: I heard my father, Abu Sinan narrated to us regarding His saying: "until they pay the jizyah out of hand," he said: Out of capability.

10036 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us from Ma'mar from Qatadah regarding "until they pay the jizyah out of hand," he said: By force.
The third view:
10037 - My father narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Musa al-Ansari narrated to us, he said: I asked Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah about the saying of Allah: "until they pay the jizyah out of hand," he said: From his own hand, and he should not send it via someone else.

10038 - My father narrated to us, Abu al-Husam al-Muqri narrated to us, Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to us from al-Ru'ayni from Abu Salih from Ibn 'Abbas regarding his saying: "until they pay the jizyah out of hand while they are humbled," he said: They are poked/shoved.
10039 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Harawi narrated to us, 'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib from Abu al-Bakhtari from Salman regarding "until they pay the jizyah out of hand while they are humbled," he said: They are not praised (i.e., not viewed with favor).
10040 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding his saying: "until they pay the jizyah out of hand while they are humbled," meaning: Abased/humiliated.
10041 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim Duhaym narrated to us, Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us from Abu Asma' al-'Adawi from Marwan ibn 'Amr from Abu Salih regarding his saying: "until they pay the jizyah out of hand while they are humbled," he said: They do not walk with it; they are pushed and shoved regarding it.

10042 - Al-'Abbas ibn Yazid al-'Abdi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Abu Sa'd, he said: Al-Mughirah sent to Rustum, and Rustum said to him: To what do you call? He said to him: I call you to Islam, for if you accept Islam, then you have what we have, and you bear what we bear. He said: And if I refuse? He said: Then you pay the jizyah out of hand while you are

١٠٠٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ثنا أَبُو سِنَانٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يد قَالَ: عَنْ قُدْرَةٍ.

١٠٠٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يد قَالَ: عَنْ قَهْرٍ.

١٠٠٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يد قَالَ: مِنْ يَدِهِ وَلَا يَبْعَثُ بِهِ مَعَ غيره

١٠٠٣٨ - حدثنا أبي ثنا أبو الحسام المقري ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ الرُّعَيْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ قَالَ:

١٠٠٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْهَرَوِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيُّ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ قَالَ: وَهُمْ غَيْرُ مَحْمُودِينَ.
١٠٠٤٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ يَعْنِي: مُذَلُّونَ.
١٠٠٤١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ دُحَيْمٌ ثنا مَرْوَانُ ابْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الْعَدَوِيِّ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: حَتَّى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ قَالَ: لَا يَمْشُونَ بِهَا، هُمْ يُتَلْتَلُونَ فِيهَا.

١٠٠٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ قَالَ: بَعَثَ الْمُغِيرَةُ إِلَى رُسْتُمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رُسْتُمُ: إِلامَ تَدْعُو؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ: أَدْعُوكَ إِلَى الإِسْلامِ، فَإِنْ أَسْلَمْتَ فَلَكَ مَا لَنَا وَعَلَيْكَ مَا عَلَيْنَا، قَالَ: فَإِنْ أَبِيتَ؟ قَالَ: فَتُعْطِي الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يد وأنت
