9221 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us from Ma'mar from al-Zuhri regarding "So travel freely in the land for four months," he said: It was revealed in Shawwal; they are the four months: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, Dhu al-Hijjah, and al-Muharram.
His saying, the Almighty: "And know that you cannot escape Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers."
9222 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, he said: It has reached us—and Allah knows best—regarding His saying "And know that you cannot escape Allah," He says: That you cannot surpass Allah on earth, and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.
His saying, the Almighty: "And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger."

9223 - It was mentioned from 'Abbad ibn Ya'qub, 'Ali ibn Hashim narrated to us from Abu al-Jarud from Hakim ibn Humayd, he said: 'Ali ibn al-Husayn said to me: "'Ali has a name in the Book of Allah, but you do not know it." I said: "What is it?" He said: "Have you not heard the saying of Allah: 'And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the Greatest Hajj'? That—by Allah—is the announcement."
And the second interpretation:
9224 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, he said: Ibn Jurayj said: Sulayman al-Shami claimed that the announcement is the recital (al-qasas), he said: The opening of [Surat] Bara'ah until it is concluded.
His saying, the Almighty: "And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger."
9225 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us—in what he wrote to me—Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying regarding the saying of Allah: "And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger," he said: It is a notification from Allah and His Messenger.
His saying, the Almighty: "The day of the Greatest Hajj."

9226 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ma'mar narrated to us, 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us from Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani from al-Harith from 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: And I asked him—meaning the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—about the day of the Greatest Hajj, and he said: It is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr).
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٩٢٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ فَسِيحُوا فِي الأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أشهر قال: نزلت في شوال، هي الأَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ: شَوَّالٌ وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ وَالْمُحَرَّمُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي الله وأن الله مخزي الكافرين
٩٢٢٢ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَالَ: بَلَغَنَا- وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ- فِي قَوْلِهِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللَّهِ يَقُولُ: أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ سَابِقِي اللَّهِ فِي الأَرْضِ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْزِي الْكَافِرِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَذَانٌ من الله ورسوله

٩٢٢٣ - ذُكِرَ عَنْ عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، أَنَّ لِعَلِيٍّ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ اسْمًا وَلَكِنْ لَا تَعْرِفُونَهُ قُلْتُ: مَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ: أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ وَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ؟ هُوَ- وَاللَّهِ- الْأَذَانُ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٩٢٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنْبَأَ حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: زَعَمَ سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّامِيُّ أَنَّ الأَذَانَ: الْقَصَصُ، قَالَ: فَتَحَةُ بَرَاءَةٍ حَتَّى تُخْتَمَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ
٩٢٢٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ- فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ- ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ قَالَ: هُوَ إِعْلامٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تعالى: يوم الحج الأكبر
