[His saying: "That is the correct religion."]
[The first interpretation]
10001 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah reported to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "That is the correct religion," he said: "The correct decree."
The second interpretation:
10002 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf reported to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding "That is the correct religion," he says: "That is the painful account."
The third interpretation:
10003 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, 'Umar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam regarding His saying: "The correct religion," he said: "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
His saying, Exalted is He: "The correct."
10004 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us, in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "That is the correct religion," he said: "The upright one."
10005 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad reported to us, Bukayr narrated to us, from Muqatil regarding His saying: "That is the correct religion," he says: "That is the clear account."
His saying, Exalted is He: "So do not wrong."
10006 - My father narrated to us, Qabisah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Qays ibn Muslim, from al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn 'Ali regarding "So do not wrong yourselves in them," he said: "Do not deem them permissible just as they deem them [permissible]."
10007 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us, in what he wrote to me, Asbagh narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying, regarding the saying of Allah: "So do not wrong yourselves in them," he said: "Wrongdoing is acting in disobedience to Allah and abandoning obedience to Him."
His saying, Exalted is He: "In them, yourselves."
10008 - Ja'far ibn al-Nadr al-Wasiti narrated to us, 'Affan ibn Muslim narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "So do not wrong yourselves in them," he said: "In all of the months."

١٠٠٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابٌ أَنْبَأَ بِشْرٌ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ قَالَ: الْقَضَاءُ الْقَيِّمُ.

١٠٠٠٢ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ أَنْبَأَ بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ يَقُولُ: ذَلِكَ الْحِسَابُ أَلِيمٌ.

١٠٠٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ ثنا عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: الْقَيِّمُ.
١٠٠٠٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ فيما كتاب إِلَيَّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ قَالَ: الْمُسْتَقِيمُ.
١٠٠٠٥ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدٌ ثنا بُكَيْرٌ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلُهُ: ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ يَقُولُ: ذَلِكَ الْحِسَابُ الْبَيِّنُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلا تَظْلِمُوا.
١٠٠٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا قَبِيصَةُ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَلا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَالَ: لَا تُحَرِّمُوهُنَّ كَحُرْمَتِهِمْ.
١٠٠٠٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ القراطيسي فيما كتاب إِلَيَّ ثنا أَصْبَغُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ: فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ فَلا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَالَ:
الظُّلْمُ: الْعَمَلُ بِمَعَاصِي اللَّهِ، وَالتَّرْكُ لِطَاعَتِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فِيهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ.
١٠٠٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَلا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَالَ: فِي الشُّهُوَرِ كُلِّهَا.
