Abu Hammad, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "an enduring punishment," meaning: everlasting, that does not cease.
His saying, the Almighty: "Like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children."
10502 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Hisinjani narrated to us, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Bashir informed us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children," the verse. He said: "The action of the disbelievers."
His saying, the Almighty: "So they enjoyed their portion."
10503 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah mentioned it, Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, 'Umar ibn 'Ata' narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, that Ibn 'Abbas said: "How similar is tonight to last night! 'Like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children, so they enjoyed their portion, and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged in vain talk as they engaged in it.' So these are the Children of Israel; we resemble them." Ibn Jurayj said: "And I do not know but that it contains: 'By Him in Whose hand is my soul, you shall certainly follow them, until even if a man entered the hole of a lizard, you would enter it.'"
10504 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Hasan regarding: "So they enjoyed their portion," he said: "With their religion."
10505 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "So they enjoyed their portion," he says: "With their share of the world."
His saying, the Almighty: "And you have enjoyed your portion."
10506 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Ali ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Sharik informed us, from Abu Ma'shar, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah regarding: "And you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion," he said: "The portion (al-khalaq): is the religion."
أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ يَعْنِي: دَائِمًا لَا يَنْقَطِعُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: كَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلَكُمْ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أموالا وأولادا
١٠٥٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِسِنْجَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، أَنْبَأَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: كَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ أَمْوَالا وَأَوْلادًا الآيَةَ، قَالَ: صَنِيعُ الْكُفَّارِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَاسْتَمْتَعُوا بِخَلاقِهِمْ
١٠٥٠٣ - ذَكَرَهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: مَا أَشْبَهَ اللَّيْلَةَ بِالْبَارِحَةِ كَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا فَاسْتَمْتَعُوا بِخَلَاقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِخَلَاقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُوا فَهَؤُلاءِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ أَشْبَهْنَاهُمْ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: وَلا أَعْلَمُ إِلا أَنَّ فِيهِ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَتَّبِعُنَّهُمْ حَتَّى لَوْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ جُحْرَ ضَبٍّ لَدَخَلْتُمُوهُ.
١٠٥٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فَاسْتَمْتَعُوا بِخَلاقِهِمْ قَالَ: بِدِينِهِمْ.
١٠٥٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَامِرِ بْنِ الْفُرَاتِ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: فَاسْتَمْتَعُوا بِخَلاقِهِمْ يَقُولُ: بِنَصِيبِهِمْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِخَلاقِكُمْ.
١٠٥٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِخَلاقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاقِهِمْ قَالَ: الْخَلاقُ: الدِّينُ.
