He said: I heard the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—saying: "The Emigrants (Muhajirun) and the Helpers (Ansar) are allies of one another in this world and the Hereafter, and the freed captives (tulaqa') of Quraysh, and those freed (utaqa') from Thaqif, are allies of one another in this world and the Hereafter."

10208 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn 'Ammar narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Khulayd narrated to us from Qatadah, he said: The believers (al-Mu'minun): they are those who clamor (al-'ajjajun) by night and day; by Allah, they never ceased saying: "Our Lord, our Lord," until it was answered for them.

His saying: "They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong."

10209 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: "They enjoin what is right (al-ma'ruf)," he said: They enjoin obedience to their Lord, "and forbid what is wrong (al-munkar)," he said: And they forbid His disobedience, meaning: disobedience to their Lord—the Almighty and Majestic.

His saying, the Almighty: "And they establish prayer and give Zakah," up to the end of the verse.

11111 - (*) Al-Mundhir ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us from 'Ata' regarding His saying: "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger," he said: Obeying the Messenger is following the Book and the Sunnah.

His saying, the Almighty: "Those—Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise."
