Translation · EN

Mujahid, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: The Throne shook out of love for meeting Allah. Al-Suddi said: He only means the couch, 'And he raised his parents to the throne.'

11994 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn Harun narrated to us, Hisham ibn ‘Ubayd Allah narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, from his father, regarding His saying: 'And he raised his parents to the throne,' he said: His seating place.

His saying: 'And they fell down before him prostrate.'

11995 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad Sa‘id al-‘Attar narrated to us, ‘Ubayda ibn Humayd narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn Rufay‘, from Tamim ibn Tarfa, from ‘Adi ibn Hatim, regarding 'And they fell down before him prostrate,' he said: This was the greeting of those who were before you, then Allah gave you 'Salam' in its place.

11996 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu al-Jamahir narrated to us, Sa‘id ibn Bashir narrated to us, Qatada narrated to us regarding 'And he raised his parents to the throne, and they fell down before him prostrate,' he said: The greeting of those before you was prostration, with which they would greet one another. Allah gave this Ummah 'Salam,' the greeting of the people of Paradise, as an honor and blessing from Allah.

11997 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh narrated to us, who said: I heard ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding the saying of Allah the Almighty: 'And they fell down before him prostrate,' he said: Prostration as a gesture of honor, just as the angels prostrated as a gesture of honor to Adam, and it was not a prostration of worship.

His saying, the Almighty: 'O my father, this is the interpretation of my vision from before. My Lord has made it come true.'

11998 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Taymi, from Abu ‘Uthman, from Salman, who said: There were forty years between Yusuf’s vision and its realization.

11999 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, from Sa‘id ibn Abi ‘Aruba, from Qatada, who said: There were thirty-five years between them.

12000 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu al-Jamahir narrated to us, Sa‘id ibn Bashir narrated to us, Qatada narrated to us regarding His saying: 'O my father, this is the interpretation of my vision from before,' he said: Allah showed them its interpretation after a long time and age.

12001 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Isa al-Tabba‘ narrated to us, Ibn ‘Ulayya narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, that Yusuf, peace be upon him, was thrown into the well when he was seventeen years old, and he lived in servitude and kingship for eighty years, then Allah reunited him with his family, and he lived for twenty-three years after that.
