Translation · EN

12571 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "And your Lord inspired to the bee," he said: He commanded it to eat from all fruits, and commanded it to follow the paths of its Lord in submission (1).

His saying, the Almighty: "Follow the paths of your Lord in submission [or: easily]"

12572 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "Follow the paths of your Lord in submission," he said: Paths that do not become difficult for it in any place it travels (2).

12573 - From Ibn Zayd regarding the verse, he said: The "submissive" (dhalul) is that which is led and goes wherever its owner wishes. He said: They take the bees out, graze them, and lead them, and they follow them. And he recited: "Do they not see that We created for them, from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and they are their owners? And We have made them submissive to them..." the verse (3).

12574 - From al-Suddi, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "Follow the paths of your Lord in submission," he said: Submissive to that. And regarding His saying: "There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors," he said: This is honey. "In which there is healing for the people," he says: In it is healing for the ailments for which it is a cure (4).

12575 - From Mujahid, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "A drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for the people," he said: It is honey; healing is in it, and [also] in the Quran (5).

12576 - From Ibn Mas'ud, he said: Take advantage of the two healings: honey and the Quran (6).

His saying, the Almighty: "And among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [stage of] old age"

12577 - From al-Suddi regarding His saying: "And among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit stage of old age," the verse. He said: The most decrepit stage of old age is the fear [of senility/loss of memory] (7).

His saying, the Almighty: "So that he may not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing"

12578 - From Ikrimah, he said: Whoever recites the Quran will not be returned to the most decrepit stage of old age. Then he recited: "So that he may not know, after [having had] knowledge, a thing" (8).

١٢٥٧١ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَأَوْحَى رَبُّكَ إِلَى النَّحْلِ قَالَ: أمرها إِنَّ تأكل مِنْ كُلّ الثمرات، وأمرها إِنَّ تتبع سبل ربها ذللا «١» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلا

١٢٥٧٢ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلا قَالَ: طرقا لا يتوعر عليها مكان سلكته «٢» .

١٢٥٧٣ - عَنْ ابن زَيْدٍ في الآية قَالَ: الذلول الّذِي يقاد ويذهب به حيث أراد صاحبه. قَالَ: فهم يخرجون بالنحل وينتجعون بها ويذهبون وهي تتبعهم. وقرأ:

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مالكون وذللناها لهم الآية «٣» .

١٢٥٧٤ - عَنِ السُّدِّىِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلا قَالَ: ذليلة لذلك. وفي قوله: يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ قَالَ:

هَذَا العسل فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ يَقُولُ: فيه شفاء الأوجاع التي شفاؤها فيه «٤» .

١٢٥٧٥ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ قَالَ: هُوَ العسل فيه الشفاء، وفي القرآن «٥» .

١٢٥٧٦ - عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: عليكم بالشفاءين: العسل والقرآن «٦» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: وَمِنْكُمْ مِنْ يُرَدُّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ

١٢٥٧٧ - عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمِنْكُمْ مِنْ يُرَدُّ إلى أرذل العمر الآية.

قَالَ أرذل العمر هُوَ الخوف «٧» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: لِكَيْ لا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا

١٢٥٧٨ - عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: مِنْ قرأ القرآن لَمْ يرد إِلَى أرذل العمر، ثُمَّ قرأ: لِكَيْ لا يعلم بعد علم شيئا «٨» .
