13307 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: 'Then you will respond with His praise', he said: 'They will emerge from their graves saying: "Exalted are You, O Allah, and with Your praise."'
13308 - From Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: 'On the day He calls you, and you will respond with His praise', meaning: with His knowledge and obedience. 'And you will think that you had not remained except for a little', meaning: in the worldly life; life spans will seem insignificant to them, and they will feel diminished when they witness the Day of Resurrection.
13309 - From Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There will be no loneliness in the graves or in the place of resurrection for the people of 'There is no god but Allah'. And I can see the people of 'There is no god but Allah' shaking the dust from their heads and saying: 'Praise be to Allah who has removed from us all sorrow.'"'
His saying, the Almighty: 'And tell My servants to say that which is best.'
13310 - From Ibn Sirin, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: 'And tell My servants to say that which is best', he said: ''There is no god but Allah'.'
His saying, the Almighty: 'Indeed, Satan is an enemy to man, manifest.'
13311 - From Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: 'The incitement (nazgh) of Satan is his agitation.'
13312 - From Qatadah, regarding His saying: 'Indeed, Satan is an enemy to man, manifest', he said: 'Show him enmity, for it is binding upon every Muslim to be his enemy. And his enmity consists of opposing him by obeying Allah.'
His saying, the Almighty: 'And We have preferred some of the prophets over others', to the end of the verse.
13313 - From Qatadah, regarding His saying: 'And We have preferred some of the prophets over others', he said: 'Allah took Abraham as a friend, spoke to Moses directly, and made Jesus like Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was. He is the servant of Allah, His messenger, from Allah's word and His spirit. He gave Solomon a great kingdom the like of which is not appropriate for anyone after him, gave David the Psalms (Zabur), and forgave Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, what preceded of his sins and what followed.'
13314 - From Ibn Jurayj, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His saying: 'And We have preferred some of the prophets over others', he said: 'Allah spoke to Moses directly, and sent Muhammad to all mankind.'
