[The third interpretation]
11467 - My father narrated to us, [saying] Abu Ma'mar al-Minqari narrated to us, [saying] 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, from 'Amr, from al-Hasan that he recited: "Hayta laka," saying: "'Alayka 'alayka" (Come to me, come to me), meaning: Take your need.
11468 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us, [saying] 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us, [saying] Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, [regarding] "Wa qalat hayta laka," meaning: Come, for I am yours.
His saying, the Almighty: "He said, 'I seek refuge in Allah! Indeed, he is my master.'"
11469 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, [saying] Shababah narrated to us, [saying] Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "Indeed, he is my master," [meaning] my lord.
His saying: "He has made my dwelling good."
11470 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying] Safwan ibn Salih narrated to us, [saying] al-Walid narrated to us, [saying] Sa'id ibn Bashir narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding the saying of Allah: "Indeed, he is my master, he has made my dwelling good," he said: [meaning] my abode.
11471 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, [saying] Muhammad ibn 'Isa narrated to us, [saying] Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, [regarding] "I seek refuge in Allah! Indeed, he is my master, he has made my dwelling good," he says: "Indeed, he is my lord; he has made my dwelling good and has entrusted me with his house, and this [act] which you call me to is an injustice."
His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed."
11472 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, [saying] Muhammad ibn 'Isa narrated to us, [saying] Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, meaning his saying: "Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed," he said: "This [act] which you call me to is an injustice, and whoever commits it will not succeed."
His saying, the Almighty: "And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her."
11473 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Yazid al-Muqri' narrated to us, [saying] Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Uthman ibn Abi Sulayman, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah: Ibn 'Abbas was asked about Joseph's inclination, and he said: He loosened his waist-wrapper and sat in the position of one having intercourse, then it was called out: "O son of Ya'qub! Do you commit adultery? You would then be like a bird whose feathers have fallen off, so it tries to fly but is unable."

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:
١١٤٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمِنْقَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ: هَيْتَ لَكَ يَقُولُ: عَلَيْكَ عَلَيْكَ. أَيْ: دُونَكَ حَاجَتَكَ.
١١٤٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ أَيْ: تَعَالَ فَأَنَا لَكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ رَبِّي
١١٤٦٩ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَوْلُهُ: إِنَّهُ رَبِّي، سَيِّدِي.
قَوْلُهُ: أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ
١١٤٧٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: إِنَّهُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ قَالَ: مَنْزِلَتِي.
١١٤٧١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ سَيِّدِي، قَدْ أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ وَآمَنَنِي عَلِي بَيْتِهِ، وَهَذَا الَّذِي تَدْعُونِي إِلَيْهِ ظَلَمٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّهُ لا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
١١٤٧٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي قولَهُ: إِنَّهُ لا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ قَالَ: هَذَا الَّذِي تَدْعُونِي إِلَيْهِ ظُلْمٌ، وَلا يُفْلِحُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ وهم بها
١١٤٧٣ - حدثنا محمد عبد الله بن يزيد المقري، ثنا سُفْيَانُ «١» ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ: سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ هَمِّ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ: حَلَّ الْهِمْيَانَ، وَجَلَسَ مِنْهَا مَجْلِسَ الْخَاتِنِ فَنُودِيَ: يَا ابْنَ يَعْقُوبَ أَتَزْنِي؟ فَيَكُونَ مِثْلُكَ مِثْلَ طَائِرٍ سَقَطَ رِيشُهُ، فذهب يطير فلم يستطع.
