12772 - From Nafi', he said: 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar informed me regarding this verse: "And keep yourself patient with those who call upon their Lord," that they are those who attend the obligatory prayers.
12773 - From the path of 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, regarding His saying: "And keep yourself patient..." the verse, he said: "It was revealed concerning the morning prayer (Fajr) and the afternoon prayer ('Asr)."
12774 - From 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah ibn al-Khaybar, regarding this verse, he said: "They are those who recite the Qur'an."
His saying: "And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless."
12775 - From Ibn Buraydah, he said: 'Uyaynah ibn Hisn entered upon the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) on a hot day, and Salman was with him, wearing a woolen cloak; the scent of sweat emanated from the wool. 'Uyaynah said: "O Muhammad, when we come to you, remove this one and those like him from your presence, so they do not bother us. When we leave, you and they are more knowledgeable." Then Allah revealed: "And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless..." the verse.
12776 - From al-Rabi', he said: He narrated to us that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) turned his attention toward Umayyah ibn Khalaf, while he was negligent and heedless of what was being said to him, so Allah revealed: "And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless..." the verse. He then returned to his companions and left Umayyah, and he found Salman reminding them. He said: "Praise be to Allah, who has not caused me to depart from the world until He showed me groups of my Ummah from among those whom He commanded me to keep myself patient with."
12777 - From the path of Mughirah, from Ibrahim, regarding His saying: "And keep yourself patient with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening," he said: "They are the people of Dhikr (remembrance)."
12778 - From Abu Ja'far, regarding the verse, he said: "He was commanded to keep himself patient with his companions, teaching them the Qur'an."

١٢٧٧٢ - عَنْ نافع قَالَ: أخبرني عَبْد الله بن عمر في هذه الآية وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ أنهم الذين يشهدون الصلوات المكتوبة «١» .
١٢٧٧٣ - مِنْ طَرِيق عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ الآية. قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ في صلاة الصبح وصلاة العصر «٢» .
١٢٧٧٤ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عدى بن الخيار في هذه الآية قَالَ: هم الذين يقرءون القرآن «٣» .
قوله: وَلا تُطِعْ مِنَ اغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ.
١٢٧٧٥ - عَنْ ابن بريدة قَالَ: دَخَلَ عيينة بن حصن عَلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْم حار وعنده سلمان عليه جبة مِنْ صوف، فثار منه ريح العرق في الصوف، فقال عيينة: يا مُحَمَّد، إِذَا نحن أتيناك فأخرج هَذَا وضرباءه مِنْ عندك لا يؤذونا فإذا خرجنا فأنت وهم أعلم. فأنزل الله وَلا تُطِعْ من أغفلنا قلبه الآية «٤» .
١٢٧٧٦ - عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تصدى لأمية بن خلف وهو ساه غافل عما يقال لَهُ، فأنزل الله ولا تطع من أغفلنا قلبه الآية.
فرجع إِلَى أصحابه وخلى عَنِ أمية، فوجد سلمان يذكرهم فقال: «الحمد لله الّذِي لَمْ أفارق الدُّنْيَا حتى أراني أقواما مِنَ أمتي ممن أمرني إِنَّ أصبر نفسي معهم» «٥» .
١٢٧٧٧ - مِنْ طَرِيق مغيرة، عَنِ إبراهيم فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ قَالَ: هم أَهْل الذكر «٦» .
١٢٧٧٨ - عَنِ أَبِي جعفر في الآية قَالَ: أمر إِنَّ يصبر نفسه مع أصحابه يعلمهم القرآن «٧» .
