12804 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "It brought forth its fruit and failed to diminish anything of it," he said: "It did not fall short; all the trees of Paradise bore fruit."

His saying: "And We caused a river to flow through them."

12805 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And We caused a river to flow through them," he says: "In the middle of them."

His saying: "And he had fruit."

12806 - Via the path of 'Ali, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "And he had fruit," he says: "Wealth."

12807 - From Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Ibn 'Abbas used to recite it as 'thumar' (with a damma on the tha'), meaning varieties of wealth."

12808 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And he had fruit," he said: "Gold and silver."

12809 - From Bashir ibn 'Ubayd, that he used to recite it as 'thumar' (with the damma on the tha') and said: "The 'thumar' is wealth, sons, and servants. And the 'thamar' is fruit."

12810 - From Abu Yazid al-Madani, that he used to recite it as 'thumar' and said: "The root and the fruit (thamar), is the fruit (thamara)."
