Translation · EN

His saying: "And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself."

12811 - From Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself," he says: "Ungrateful for the favor of his Lord."

His saying: "He said, 'I do not think that this will ever perish.'"

12812 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "He said, 'I do not think that this will ever perish,'" he says: "It will be destroyed. 'And I do not think the Hour will be established; and even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return.'"

12813 - From Asma' bint 'Umays, she said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught me words to say when in distress: 'Allah, Allah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.'"

His saying: "Whatever Allah wills; there is no power except with Allah."

He interprets the saying of Allah: "And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, 'Whatever Allah wills; there is no power except with Allah?'"

12814 - From Ziyad ibn Sa'd, he said: "When Ibn Shihab would enter his properties, he would say: 'Whatever Allah wills; there is no power except with Allah,' and he would interpret His saying: 'And why did you not, when you entered your garden,' the verse."

12815 - From Mutarrif, he said: "When Malik would enter his house, he would say: 'Whatever Allah wills.' I said to Malik: 'Why do you say this?' He said: 'Do you not hear Allah saying: "And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, 'Whatever Allah wills'?"'"

12816 - From Hafs ibn Maysara, he said: "I saw written on the door of Wahb ibn Munabbih: 'Whatever Allah wills,' and that is the saying of Allah: 'And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, "Whatever Allah wills?"'"

12817 - From 'Umar ibn Murra, he said: "Indeed, among the best of supplications is a man saying: 'Whatever Allah wills.'"

12818 - From Ibrahim ibn Adham, he said: "No person has ever asked a question more successful than to say: 'Whatever Allah wills.'"

قوله: وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ

١٢٨١١ - عَنْ قَتَادَة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي

قَوْلِهِ: وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ يَقُولُ كفور لنعمة ربه «١» .

قوله: قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ إِنَّ تَبِيدَ هَذِهِ أَبَدًا

١٢٨١٢ - عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ إِنَّ تَبِيدَ هَذِهِ أَبَدًا يَقُولُ: تهلك «٢» وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ كانت قائمة ثُمَّ رُدِدْتُ إِلَى رَبِّي لأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا مُنْقَلَبًا.

١٢٨١٣ - عَنْ أسماء بنت عميس قالت: علمني رَسُول الله صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كلمات أقولهن عند الكرب: الله الله ربي لا أشرك به شيئًا «٣» .

قوله: مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ

ويتأول قول الله وَلَوْلا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ.

١٢٨١٤ - عَنْ زياد بن سعد قَالَ: كَانَ ابن شهاب إِذَا دَخَلَ أمواله قَالَ: مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ ويتأول قوله: ولولا إذ دخلت جنتك الآية «٤» .

١٢٨١٥ - عَنْ مطرف قَالَ: كَانَ مالك إِذَا دَخَلَ بيته قَالَ: مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ قلت لمالك لَمْ: «٥» تقول هَذَا؟ قَالَ: ألا تسمع الله يَقُولُ: وَلَوْلا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ «٦» .

١٢٨١٦ - عَنْ حفص بن ميسرة قَالَ: رأيت عَلَى باب وهب بن منبه مكتوبًا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وذلك قول الله: وَلَوْلا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ «٧» .

١٢٨١٧ - عَنْ عمر بن مرة قَالَ: إِنَّ مِنَ أفضل الدعاء قول الرجل مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ «٨» .

١٢٨١٨ - عَنِ إبراهيم بن أدهم قَالَ: مَا سأل رجل مسألة أنجح مِنَ انَّ يَقُولُ:

مَا شاء الله.
