12819 - From Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Whoever sees something of his wealth and is impressed by it, let him say, 'Whatever Allah wills; there is no power except with Allah,' and that wealth will never suffer any affliction," and he recited: 'And why did you not, when you entered your garden,' the verse.

His saying: "A calamity from the sky."

12820 - From al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "A calamity from the sky," he said: "Fire."

His saying: "And it will become a slippery ground."

12821 - From Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "A calamity from the sky," he said: "A punishment, 'and it will become a slippery ground,' meaning it has been harvested of all that was in it, leaving nothing behind, 'or its water will become sunken,' meaning it has gone, having sunk into the earth."

His saying: "And his fruits were encompassed [with ruin], and he began to wring his hands."

'And his fruits were encompassed [with ruin], and he began to wring his hands,' he said: "He claps his hands over what he spent on it, in regret for what he has lost."

12822 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: 'A slippery ground,' he said: "The smooth surface, and the slippery ground is that which has no vegetation. 'And his fruits were encompassed [with ruin],' he said: 'By the fruits of the two gardens, so they were destroyed. 'And he began to wring his hands,' he said: 'In remorse over them. 'And it was in ruins upon its trellises,' he said: 'Its bottom was turned to its top.'"

His saying: "And he had no company."

12823 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "And he had no company," he said: "A clan."

12824 - From Qatada regarding His saying: "And he had no company," he said: "A clan."
