Translation · EN

Moses, who killed the one from the family of Pharaoh by mistake. Allah says: "And you killed a man, so We saved you from distress."

13434 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "So We saved you from distress," he said: "From the killing of the man." And regarding "and We tried you with a severe trial," he said: "We purified you thoroughly."

The Saying of the Exalted: "And We tried you with a severe trial."

13435 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And We tried you with a severe trial," he said: "We tested you with a test."

13436 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And We tried you with a severe trial," he said: "We tested you with a test of blessing."

The Saying of the Exalted: "Then you stayed years among the people of Midian."

13437 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Then you stayed years among the people of Midian," he said: "Ten years. Then you came at a predestined time, O Moses." He said: "At an appointed time."

The Saying of the Exalted: "Then you came at a predestined time."

13438 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Then you came at a predestined time," he said: "The appointed time."

13439 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Then you came at a predestined time," he said: "At an appointed time."

The Saying of the Exalted: "And do not slacken in My remembrance."

13440 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And do not slacken in My remembrance," he said: "Do not become weak."

13441 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And do not slacken," he said: "Do not be slow."

The Saying of the Exalted: "And speak to him with gentle speech."

13442 - From 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And speak to him with gentle speech," he said: "Use a kunyah (patronymic) for him."

13443 - From Sufyan al-Thawri regarding "And speak to him with gentle speech," he said: "Use a kunyah for him, 'O Abu Murrah'."

موسي الّذِي قتل مِنَ آل فرعون خطأ يَقُولُ الله: وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ «١» .

١٣٤٣٤ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ قَالَ: مِنْ قتل النفس وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا قَالَ: أخلصناك إخلاصا «٢» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا

١٣٤٣٥ - عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا ابتليناك ابتلاء «٣» .

١٣٤٣٦ - عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا قَالَ: ابتليناك ببلاء نعمة «٤» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْل مَدْيَنَ

١٣٤٣٧ - عَنْ قَتَادَة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْل مَدْيَنَ قَالَ:

عشر سنين ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَى قَالَ: عَلَى موعد «٥» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ

١٣٤٣٨ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ قَالَ:

الميقات «٦» .

١٣٤٣٩ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ قَالَ: علي موعد «٧» .

قوله تعالى وَلا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي

١٣٤٤٠ - عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي قَالَ: لا تضعفا «٨» .

١٣٤٤١ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا تَنِيَا قَالَ: لا تبطئا «٩» .

قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: فَقُولا لَهُ قَوْلا لَيِّنًا

١٣٤٤٢ - عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَقُولا لَهُ قَوْلا لَيِّنًا قَالَ: كنه «١٠» .

١٣٤٤٣ - عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثوري فَقُولا لَهُ قَوْلا لَيِّنًا قَالَ: كنياه يا أبا مرة «١١» .
