people are not like the creation of beasts, nor is the creation of beasts like the creation of people, but He created everything and determined it with a measurement.”
13453 - We were told by Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Gave everything its creation," he said: "He gave every created thing what suits it from its creation. He did not place the human in the creation of a beast, nor the beast in the creation of a dog, nor the dog in the creation of a sheep. He gave everything what is appropriate for it in terms of marriage, and He prepared everything for that; there is nothing among them that possesses anything regarding its actions in creation, sustenance, and marriage. Then 'He guided,' he said: He guided everything to its sustenance and to its mate."
13454 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Gave everything its creation," he said: "He gave everything its form. Then 'He guided,' he said: To its livelihood."
13455 - From 'Ikrimah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Gave everything its creation, then guided," he said: "Do you not see the camel, how it stands for its owner, waiting until he gives it life?"
13456 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Then He guided," he said: "How the male approaches the female."
13457 - From Ibn Sabit, he said: "That which the beasts are not perplexed about, they are not perplexed about four things: they know that Allah is their Lord, the male approaches the female, they are guided to their livelihoods, and they fear death."
The Saying of the Exalted: "He said: 'What then is the state of the former generations?'"
13458 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "He said: 'What then is the state of the former generations?'" He says: "What is the condition of the generations?"
The Saying of the Exalted: "My Lord neither errs nor forgets."
13459 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "My Lord neither errs," he said: "He does not make a mistake."
13460 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "My Lord neither errs nor forgets," he said: "They are one and the same."
