13461 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "My Lord neither errs nor forgets," he said: "My Lord does not err regarding the Book, and He does not forget what is in it."

13462 - From Abu al-Malih, he said: "People find fault with us regarding the Book, while Allah the Exalted said: 'The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Book.'"

13463 - From Abu Hilal, he said: "We were with Qatadah when they mentioned the Book and asked him about it. He said: 'What is the harm in that? Is not Allah the All-Aware who informs?' He said: 'What then is the state of the former generations?' He said: 'The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Book.'"

The Saying of the Exalted: "Of various plants."

13464 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "Various plants," he said: "Diverse." And regarding His saying: "For people of intelligence," he said: "For people of piety."

13465 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "For people of intelligence," he said: "For people of devoutness (wara')."

The Saying of the Exalted: "A place of equality."

13466 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "A place of equality," he said: "Fair among them."

13467 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "A place of equality," he said: "Just."

13468 - From Ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "A place of equality," he said: "A level place where people are equal in it, with no sound or anything. Some of it is hidden from the other; it is level when one sees it."

The Saying of the Exalted: "Your appointment is the Day of the Festival."

13469 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: "Your appointment is the Day of the Festival," he said: "The day of the marketplace."
