Translation · EN

The Saying of the Exalted: "And all faces shall be humbled."

13534 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "And all faces shall be humbled," he said: Degraded.

13535 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And all faces shall be humbled," he said: Humbled (khasha'at).

13536 - From Ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And all faces shall be humbled," he said: They were taken captive; they all became captives.

13537 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "And all faces shall be humbled," he said: Bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud).

13538 - From Tariq ibn Habib (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And all faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer," he said: It is your placing of your forehead, palms, knees, and the toes of your feet in prostration.

The Saying of the Exalted: "So he will fear neither injustice nor deprivation."

13539 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "So he will fear neither injustice nor deprivation," he said: He will not fear that he will be wronged by having his sins increased, nor that he will be deprived of any of his good deeds.

13540 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "So he will fear neither injustice," he said: That more than his sins be added against him; "nor deprivation," he said: That anything be deducted from his good deeds.

13541 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "Nor deprivation," he said: Seizure (by force).

The Saying of the Exalted: "Or [that] He causes it to bring forth for them a remembrance."

13542 - From Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "He causes it to bring forth for them a remembrance," he said: The Qur'an is a reminder. He said: Diligence and piety.

The Saying of the Exalted: "And do not hasten with the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you."

13543 - From al-Suddi (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to, when...
