13595 - From Sufyan al-Thawri regarding His saying: "We do not ask of you provision," he said: We do not burden you with seeking it (1).
13596 - From 'Urwah that he used to enter upon the people of the world and would see some aspect of their worldly wealth. Then, when he would return to his family and enter his house, he would recite: "And do not extend your eyes" until His saying: "We provide for you." Then he would say: "Prayer, prayer, may Allah have mercy on you!" (2).
13597 - Thabit narrated to us, he said: Whenever the family of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would experience a hardship, he would call his family: "Prayer, pray, pray!" Thabit said: "And the Prophets, when a matter would descend upon them, would flee to prayer" (3).

١٣٥٩٥ - عن سفيان الثوري في قوله: لا نسئلك رِزْقًا قَالَ: لا نكلفك الطلب «١» .
١٣٥٩٦ - عَنْ عروة أنه كَانَ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَهْل الدُّنْيَا فرأى مِنْ دنياهم طرفا فإذا رجع إِلَى أهله فدخل الدار قرأ وَلا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إلى قوله: نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ:
الصلاة الصلاة رحمكم الله «٢» .
١٣٥٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِت قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أصابت أهله خصاصة نادي أهله الصلاة صلوا صلوا قَالَ ثَابِت: وكَانَتِ الأَنْبِيَاء إِذَا أنزل بهم أمر فزعوا إلى الصلاة «٣» .
