11529 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd saying regarding the saying of God: "He has obsessed her with love," he said: The shaghaf and the sha'af are different; the sha'af is in hatred, and the shaghaf is in love.
11530 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd al-Samad ibn Muhammad al-'Abbadani narrated to us, he said: I heard my father saying: A man said to Yusuf—meaning the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him—: "I love you." Yusuf said to him: "I do not want anyone to love me except God. Because of my father's love [for me], I was thrown into the well, and because of the love of the wife of al-'Aziz, I was thrown into prison."
The saying of the Most High: "So when she heard of their plotting."
11531 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan ibn Salih narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Bashir narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding the saying of God: "So when she heard of their plotting," meaning: their talk.
11532 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, he said: Sufyan said: "So when she heard of their plotting," he said: Their action. And he said: Every "plotting" (makr) in the Quran is an action.
The saying of the Most High: "She sent for them and prepared for them a reclining place."

11533 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And prepared for them a reclining place (muttaqa'an)," he said: And she prepared for them a place to recline.
11534 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Yunus narrated to us, Fudayl ibn 'Iyad narrated to us, from Husayn, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And prepared for them a reclining place," he said: The citron (al-utrujj).
11535 - My father narrated to us, Sahl ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from al-Minhal—meaning:

قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا قَالَ: الشَّغَافُ: جِلْدَةٌ رَقِيقَةٌ تَكُونُ عَلَى الْقَلْبِ بَيْضَاءُ، حُبُّهُ خَرَقَ ذَلِكَ الْجِلْدَ، حَتَّى وَصَلَ إِلَى الْقَلْبِ.
١١٥٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا قَالَ: رَأَتِ الْعِلْجَةُ خَلِيقَةً لَمْ تَرَ مِثْلَهَا حَيْثُ غُلِبَتْ عَلَى عَقْلِهَا أَبَى قَلْبُهَا أَنْ يَدَعَهَا، فَأَنْطَقَ اللَّهُ خَلِيقَةً مِنْ خَلْقِهِ فَقَالَ: إِنْ كَانَ قَمِيصُهُ.
١١٥٢٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا أَصْبَغُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا قَالَ: إِنَّ الشَّغَفَ، وَالشَّعَفُ مُخْتَلِفَانِ، فَالشَّعَفُ فِي الْبُغْضِ، وَالشَّغَفُ فِي الْحُبِّ.
١١٥٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ محمد العباد اني، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِيُوسُفَ يَعْنِي: النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ يُوسُفُ: لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُحِبَّنِي أَحَدٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ، مِنْ حُبِّ أَبِي أُلْقِيتُ فِي الْجُبِّ، وَمِنْ حُبِّ امْرَأَةِ الْعَزِيزِ أُلْقِيتُ فِي السِّجْنِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ
١١٥٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ: بِحَدِيثِهِنَّ.
١١٥٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ قَالَ: بِعَمَلِهِنَّ، وَقَالَ: كُلُّ مَكْرٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ فَهُوَ عَمَلٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ متكأ

١١٥٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مِنْجَابٌ، أَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَوْلُهُ: وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَأً قَالَ: وَهَيَّأَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَئًا.
١١٥٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَأً قَالَ: الأُتْرُجُّ.
