And the third aspect:
11624 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, ‘Umar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam regarding His saying: "The correct religion," he said: "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
His saying, the Exalted: "The correct [religion]."
11625 - Ahmad ibn ‘Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi informed us in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "That is the correct religion," he said: "The straight [path]."
11626 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad narrated to us, Bukayr narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan: "The correct religion," [he said]: "The clear reckoning."
His saying, the Exalted: "But most of the people do not know."
11627 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-‘Ala’ narrated to us, ‘Uthman ibn Sa‘id al-Zayyat narrated to us, Bishr ibn ‘Umarah narrated to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding "But most of the people do not know," he says: "They do not understand."
His saying, the Exalted: "O my two companions of the prison, as for one of you, he will give his lord to drink wine, and as for the other, he will be crucified."
11628 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Isa narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from ‘Abd Allah ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, then he said to Mijlith: "As for you, you will be crucified and birds will eat from your head." And he said to Nabwa: "As for you, you will be returned to your work, your master will be pleased with you. The matter concerning which you both inquire has been decreed."
11629 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Hisham ibn Yusuf narrated to me, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us: "No food will come to you that you are provided with." Muhammad ibn ‘Abbas claimed and said: He disliked the interpretation [of the dream] for them, so he departed in the morning and said: "No food will come to you..." and they did not press him to interpret it. Then he disliked the interpretation when he promised, so he said: "O my two companions of the prison, are separate lords better..." until His saying "...do not know." They did not press him to interpret it, so he interpreted it for them: "O my two companions of the prison... No food will come to you." This [information] increased them in [anxiety], and they did not ask him about it because they knew he possessed knowledge. It was the custom of the King that if he intended to kill someone, he would send him food, and he would not send it to anyone unless he intended to kill him.
