Second View:
14428 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tahrani narrated to me, [saying]: Hafs ibn 'Umar al-'Adani reported, [who said]: Al-Hakam ibn Aban narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, regarding His saying: "Who have no desire among men," [he] said: He is the effeminate one (mukhannath) who has no sexual potency.
14429 - Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, the nephew of Ibn Wahb, narrated to us, [saying]: My uncle reported, [who said]: Yunus narrated to me, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Aishah, or Husayn, that a mukhannath (effeminate man) used to enter upon the household of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and they used to consider him one of those who have no desire. Then the Prophet, peace be upon him, entered upon him while he was describing a woman, and heard him say: "If she approaches, she approaches with four [folds], and if she departs, she departs with eight." So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "I do not think he knows what is here [meaning the women's affairs]; let him not enter upon you." So he expelled him, and he stayed in al-Baida', entering every Friday to ask for food.
His saying, the Exalted: "Or the child."
14430 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying]: Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported, [who said]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, [who said]: 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding His saying: "Or the child," meaning the young boys.
14431 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: 'Amr ibn 'Uthman ibn Sa'id ibn Kathir ibn Dinar reported, [who said]: My father reported, [who said]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, [who said]: Abu al-Nadr Salim narrated to me, from Busr ibn Sa'id, regarding the saying of Allah: "Or the child who have not yet attained knowledge of the private parts of women," [he] said: The boy who has not yet reached puberty.
His saying: "Who have not yet attained knowledge of the private parts of women."
14432 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, [saying]: Shababah reported, [who said]: Warqa' reported, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid (1), regarding His saying: "Who have not yet attained knowledge of the private parts of women," [he said]: They do not know what they are, due to their youth before puberty. It was also narrated from Sa'id ibn Jubayr similarly.
His saying, the Exalted: "And let them not strike their feet."
14433 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Abu Salih reported, [who said]: Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And let them not strike their feet," it is that she claps one anklet against the other.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
١٤٤٢٨ - حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: أُولِي الإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ قَالَ: هُوَ الْمُخَنَّثُ الَّذِي لَا يَقُومُ زُبُّهُ.
١٤٤٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، ثنا عَمِّي، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَوْ حُسَيْنٍ أَنَّ مُؤَنَّثًا كَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أَهْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانُوا يَعُدُّونَهُ مِنْ أُولِي الإِرْبَةِ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَنْعَتُ امْرَأَةً فَسَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهَا إِذَا أَقْبَلَتْ أَقْبَلَتْ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ أَدْبَرَتْ بِثَمَانٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا أَرَى هَذَا يَعْلَمُ مَا هَاهُنَا، لَا يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَأَخْرَجَهُ فَكَانَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ يَدْخُلُ كُلَّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ، لِيَسْتَطْعِمَ.
قوله تعالى: أَوِ الطفل.
١٤٤٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يحى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: أَوِ الطِّفْلِ يَعْنِى الْغِلْمَانَ الصِّغَارَ.
١٤٤٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ سَالِمٌ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ قَالَ: الْغُلامُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَحْتَلِمْ.
قَوْلُهُ: الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ.
١٤٤٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» قَوْلُهُ: الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ لَا يَدْرُونَ مَا هِيَ مِنَ الصِّغَرِ قَبْلَ الْحُلُمِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قوله تعالى: وَلا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ.
١٤٤٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَلا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَهُوَ أَنْ تقرع الخلخال بالآخر
