Muzahim, [who said]: Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf reported, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding his saying: "And your female slaves," meaning the male slaves and the female slaves. It was narrated from al-Suddi similarly.

14447 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, [saying]: al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, [who said]: Yazid ibn Zuray' reported, [who said]: Sa'id reported, from Qatadah, regarding his saying: "And the righteous among your slaves and your female slaves," [he said]: Allah has commanded you, as you hear, to marry them, for it is more lowering for their gaze and more guarding for their private parts.

His saying: "If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty."

14448 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Abu Salih reported, [who said]: Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: Allah, Glorified is He, commanded marriage and encouraged them [to it], and promised them wealth in that, saying: "If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty."

14449 - My father narrated to us, [who said]: Mahmud ibn Khalid al-Azraq reported, [who said]: 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-Wahid reported, from Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, he said: It reached me that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Obey Allah in what He has commanded you regarding marriage, and He will fulfill for you what He has promised you of wealth," [as] the Exalted said: "If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty."

[His saying: "And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing"]

Its interpretation has preceded, and Allah knows best.

His saying, the Exalted: "And let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain."

14450 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tehrani narrated to us, [who said]: Hafs ibn 'Umar al-Ghadani reported, [who said]: al-Hakam ibn Aban reported, from 'Ikrimah, regarding his saying: "And let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain," he said: It is a man who sees a woman and feels desire, so if he has a wife, let him go to her and fulfill his need with her; and if he does not have a wife, let him look into the kingdom of the heavens and the earth until Allah enriches him from His bounty.

His saying: "Until Allah enriches them from His bounty."

14451 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, [who said]: Sa'id ibn 'Abd Allah al-Tallas reported, [who said]: A sheikh reported, from Abu Rawq, regarding "And let those who find not [the means for] marriage abstain until Allah enriches them from His bounty," he says: [Abstain] from what Allah has forbidden them until Allah provides for them.

His saying, the Exalted: "And those who seek the contract."

14452 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [who said]: Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah reported, [who said]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, [who said]: 'Ata' narrated to me.
