al-Rabi' from Abu al-'Aliyah, who said: "Men whom neither merchandise nor sale diverts from the remembrance of Allah and the performance of prayer," meaning the obligatory prayer.

14657 - Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath narrated to us, [saying]: al-Husayn ibn 'Ali reported to us, [saying]: 'Amir ibn al-Furat reported to us, [saying]: Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "And the performance of prayer," he said: The establishment of prayer in congregation.

14658 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl ibn Musa, [who said]: Muhammad ibn 'Ali reported to us, [saying]: Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported to us, [saying]: Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf reported to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan: "And the performance of prayer," meaning: That [trade and sale] does not divert them from attending the prayer, that they perform it as Allah has commanded them, and that they observe its timings and what Allah has entrusted them with regarding it.

His saying, the Exalted: "And the giving of Zakah."

14659 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Abu Salih reported to us, [saying]: Mu'awiyah ibn Salih reported to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "Zakah," he means by Zakah: obedience to Allah and sincerity.

His saying: "They fear a day."

14660 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, [saying]: Hafs reported to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, who said: A drink was brought to 'Abd Allah [ibn Mas'ud], and he said: Give it to 'Alqamah. He said: I am fasting. He said: Give it to Masruq. He said: I am fasting. He said: So 'Abd Allah took it and drank, then he recited: "They fear a day in which hearts and eyes will turn about."

14661 - It was read to Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la, [who said]: Ibn Wahb informed us, [saying]: 'Abd Allah ibn 'Ayyash informed me, from Zayd ibn Aslam, regarding the saying of Allah: "They fear a day in which hearts and eyes will turn about," he said: The Day of Resurrection.

His saying: "In which hearts and eyes will turn about."

14662 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, [saying]: Abu Khalid reported to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, regarding His saying: "A day in which hearts and eyes will turn about," he said: The hearts will turn about in the chest and will not be able to exit until they reach the throat, which is His saying: "When hearts are at the throats, filled with sorrow [lit: suppressing (their grief)]."
