His saying: "And those are not of the believers."
14735 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying]: Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported to us, [saying]: Ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, [saying]: 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "of the believers," meaning: of those who profess truth.
His saying: "And when they are invited to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them."
14736 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd al-'Awfi informed us in what he wrote to me, [saying]: My father narrated to me, [saying]: My paternal uncle narrated to me, [saying]: My father narrated to me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas, [who] said: "And when they are invited to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them," they said: Rather, we will take you to Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf [for judgment].
14737 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Musa ibn Isma'il reported to us, [saying]: Mubarak reported to us, [saying]: al-Hasan reported, [saying]: A man would, when he wanted to commit an injustice, if he were invited to the Prophet (peace be upon him), turn away and say: Go to so-and-so. Then Allah revealed: "And when they are invited to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them," up to His saying: "the wrongdoers."
His saying: "in their hearts is a disease."
14738 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, [saying]: Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported to us, [saying]: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, [saying]: 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "a party of them," meaning: a group.
His saying: "turning away."
14739 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, [saying]: al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, [saying]: Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, [saying]: Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "turning away," he said: From the Book of Allah.
His saying: "But if the right is with them, they come to him in submission."
14740 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Musa ibn Isma'il reported to us, [saying]: Mubarak reported to us, [saying]: al-Hasan said: A man would, if there was a dispute between him and another man, and he was invited to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was in the right, submit, knowing that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would judge in his favor with the truth.
14741 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, [saying]: Asbagh ibn al-Faraj reported to us, [saying]: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding the saying of Allah: "But if the right is with them, they come to him in submission," he said: They hasten to him.
قوله تعالى: وَمَا أُولَئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
١٤٧٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يحى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَعْنِى بِالْمُصَدِّقِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ.
١٤٧٣٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَوْفِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَالُوا: بَلْ نُحَاكِمُكُمْ إِلَى كَعْبِ بْنِ الأَشْرَفِ.
١٤٧٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا مُبَارَكٌ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ، قَالَ: كَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَظْلِمَ فَدُعِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَعْرَضَ وَقَالَ:
انْطَلِقْ إِلَى فُلانٍ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ: وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ الظَّالِمُونَ.
قوله: إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ.
١٤٧٣٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يحى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ يَعْنِى طَائِفَةً
قوله: مُعْرِضُونَ.
١٤٧٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قوله: مُعْرِضُونَ قَالَ: عَنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَإِنْ يَكُنْ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ يَأْتُوا إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ.
١٤٧٤٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا مُبَارَكٌ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ قَالَ: كَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ مُنَازَعَةٌ فَدُعِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحِقٌ أَذْعَنَ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَيَقْضِي لَهُ بِالْحَقِّ.
١٤٧٤١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَإِنْ يَكُنْ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ يَأْتُوا إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ قَالَ: يَسرِعُونَ إِلَيْهِ.
