14841 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid reported to us, al-Walid reported to us, Bukayr ibn Ma‘ruf reported to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding the recitation of Ibn Mas‘ud: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their garments," [meaning] they may lay aside the jilbab, but they should not lay aside the khimar. It has been narrated from al-Hasan, Qatadah, al-Zuhri, and al-Awza‘i similar to the saying of Muqatil ibn Hayyan.
14842 - My father narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Musa reported to us, ‘Isa ibn Yunus informed us, ‘Imran ibn Sulayman al-Muradi reported to us, he said: I heard Abu Salih say regarding this verse: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their garments," he said: She may lay aside the jilbab and stand before a man in her dir‘ (tunic) and khimar.
14843 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn ‘Ubayd Allah reported to us, Ibn al-Mubarak reported to us, from Ibn ‘Uyaynah, from ‘Amr ibn Dinar, he said: Ibn ‘Abbas used to say: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their jalabib."
14844 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Salih reported to us, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their garments," he said: It is that there is no blame upon the woman if she sits in her house in a dir‘ and a khimar, and lays aside her jilbab, as long as she does not display her adornment in a way that Allah dislikes.
14845 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr reported to us, Ibn Lahi‘ah narrated to me, ‘Ata’ narrated to me, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their garments," [noting] the recitation of Ibn Mas‘ud: "that they lay aside their garments," meaning the jilbab over the khimar. So there is no harm if they lay it aside in the presence of a stranger or someone else, provided that she is wearing a dense khimar.

14846 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid reported to us, al-Walid reported to us, from Shayban, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from ‘Ikrimah regarding His saying: "Then there is no blame upon them that they lay aside their garments," he said: They may lay aside the jilbab and the khimar.
14847 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid reported to us, al-Walid reported to us, Ibn Lahi‘ah narrated to me, from Bukayr ibn al-Ashajj, from Nafi‘, from Ibn ‘Umar similar to it; and from Bukayr, from Sulayman ibn Yasar similar to it.
14848 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn ‘Ubayd Allah reported to us, Ibn al-Mubarak reported to us, from Ma‘mar, that al-Hasan said regarding His saying: "And the women of post-menopause": He said: There is no blame upon a woman when she has ceased from marriage
١٤٨٤١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ فِي قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ الْجِلْبَابَ وَلا يَضَعْنَ الْخِمَارَ، وَرُوِِىِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَالزُّهْرِيِّ وَالأَوْزَاعِيِّ نَحْوُ قَوْلِ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ.
١٤٨٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنْبَأَ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمُرَادِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ يَقُولُ فِي هَذِهِ الآيَةِ: فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ قَالَ: تَضَعُ الْجِلْبَابَ وَتَقُومُ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الدِّرْعِ وَالْخِمَارِ.
١٤٨٤٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ ابْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ جَلابِيبَهُنَّ.
١٤٨٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ قَالَ: هِيَ الْمَرْأَةُ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَجْلِسَ فِي بَيْتِهَا بِدِرْعٍ وَخِمَارٍ وَتَضَعَ عَنْهَا الجلباب ما لم تتبرج ما يَكْرَهُ اللَّهِ.
١٤٨٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ قِرَاءَةُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ، وَهُوَ الْجِلْبَابُ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْخِمَارِ فَلا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ عِنْدَ غَرِيبٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا خِمَارٌ صَفِيفٌ.

١٤٨٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ قَالَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ قَالَ: لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا قَعَدَتْ، عَنِ النِّكَاحِ
