His saying, the Almighty: "So let those who oppose His command beware."
14937 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali reported to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf reported to us from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: "So let those who oppose His command beware," he means the hypocrites.
14938 - My father narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Muhammad al-Tanafisi reported to us, Abu 'Ali 'Abd al-Samad ibn Subayh reported to us from al-Hasan ibn Salih, who said: "I am afraid for the one who abandons the wiping over the socks (khuffayn) that he might be included in this verse: 'So let those who oppose His command beware, lest a trial (fitnah) should befall them.'"
14939 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh reported to me, saying: I heard Ibn Zayd regarding the saying of Allah: "So let those who oppose His command beware," those who do this.
His saying, the Almighty: "lest a trial should befall them."
14940 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali reported to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf reported to us from Muqatil regarding His saying: "lest a trial should befall them," he means by the trial: disbelief. Similar to this was narrated from al-Suddi and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam.
His saying, the Almighty: "or a painful punishment should befall them."
14941 - And by it from Muqatil ibn Hayyan: "or a painful punishment should befall them," he means being killed in this world.
His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth."
14942 - 'Ali ibn Tahir narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-'Ala'—meaning Abu Kurayb—reported to us, 'Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Zayyat reported to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah reported to us from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) said: "O Muhammad, to Allah belongs the entire creation; the heavens, all of them, and whoever is within them; the earths, all of them, and whoever is within them; and what is between them of that which is known and that which is not known."
His saying, the Almighty: "He already knows that upon which you are."
14943 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid reported to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us from Qatadah regarding "Indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He already knows that upon which you are," he said:
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ
١٤٩٣٧ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قوله: فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ يَعْنِى الْمُنَافِقِينَ.
١٤٩٣٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ابن صُبَيْحٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: إِنَّى لخائف على ما تَرَكَ الْمَسْحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ أَنْ يَكُونَ دَاخِلا فِي هَذِهِ الآيَةِ فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمُ فِتْنَةٌ
١٤٩٣٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، أنبأ أَصْبَغُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ زَيْدٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ الَّذِينَ يَصْنَعُونَ هَذَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ
١٤٩٤٠ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ قَوْلُهُ: أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمُ فِتْنَةٌ يَعْنِى بِالْفِتْنَةِ: الْكُفْرَ- وَرُوِِىِ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
١٤٩٤١ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ يَعْنِى الْقَتْلَ فِي الدُّنْيَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَلا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السماوات وَالأَرْضِ
١٤٩٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ طَاهِرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ العلا يعني أبا كريب، ثنا عثمان ابن سَعِيدٍ الزَّيَّاتُ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ لِلَّهِ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُ، السَّمَاوَاتُ كُلُّهُنَّ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَالأَرْضُونَ كُلُّهُنَّ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وما بينهم مِمَّا يَعْلَمُ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ
١٤٩٤٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا في السماوات وَالأَرْضِ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهُ قَالَ:
