13735 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), regarding "Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us," he said: "They are the allies of Allah; they will pass over the Path (al-Sirat) at a speed faster than lightning, so it will not strike them. They will hear its rumbling, while the disbeliever remains trapped therein."
13736 - From al-Nu'man ibn Bashir: That 'Ali read: "Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us – they are from it far removed," and he said: "I am among them, 'Umar is among them, 'Uthman is among them, al-Zubayr is among them, Talhah is among them, and Sa'd and 'Abd al-Rahman are among them."
His saying, the Almighty: "They will not hear its rumbling."
13737 - From Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi, regarding His saying: "They will not hear its rumbling," he said: "[It refers to] snakes on the Path that sting them; when they sting them, they will say: 'Hiss... hiss.'"
13748 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Abi Surayj narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Abi Yazid al-Hamadani narrated to us, from Layth ibn Abi Sulaym, from the cousin of al-Nu'man ibn Bashir, who said: "I spent an evening with 'Ali, and he read: 'Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us – they are from it far removed.' He said: 'I am among them, 'Umar is among them, 'Uthman is among them, al-Zubayr is among them, Talhah is among them, and 'Abd al-Rahman is among them,' or he said: 'Sa'd is among them.' He said: 'Then the prayer was called, so he stood up—and I believe he was dragging his garment—while he was saying: "They will not hear its rumbling."'
His saying, the Almighty: "The greatest terror will not grieve them."
13749 - From Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "The greatest terror will not grieve them," [he said it] means the final blast [of the Trumpet].
13750 - From al-Hasan, regarding "The greatest terror will not grieve them," he said: "[It refers to] the departure of the servant when he is ordered to the Fire."
13751 - From al-Suddi, who said: "The Sijill (scroll) is an angel entrusted with the pages; when one dies, his book is handed to the Sijill, who rolls it up and lifts it until the Day of Resurrection."

١٣٧٣٥ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُمْ مِنَّا الْحُسْنَى قَالَ: أولئك أولياء الله، يمرون عَلَى الصراط مرًا هُوَ أسرع مِنَ البرق فلا تصيبهم يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ويبقى الكافر فيها حبيسًا «١» .
١٣٧٣٦ - عَنِ النعمان بن بشير: إِنَّ عليًا قرأ: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُمْ مِنَّا الْحُسْنَى أُولَئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ فقال: أنا منهم وعمر منهم وعثمان منهم والزبير منهم وطلحة منهم، وسعد وعبد الرحمن منهم «٢» .
قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: لا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا
١٣٧٣٧ - عَنِ أَبِي عثمان النهدي فِي قَوْلِهِ: لا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا قَالَ: حيات عَلَى الصراط تلسعهم، فإذا لسعتهم قالوا: حس.. حس «٣» .
١٣٧٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أبى حَدَّثَنَا أحمد بن أبي سريج ثنا مُحَمَّد بن الحسين بن أَبِي يَزِيد الهمداني، عَنْ ليث بن أبي سليم عَنِ ابْنِ عم النعمان بن بشير قَالَ: وسمر مع علي ذات ليلة، فقرأ: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُمْ مِنَّا الْحُسْنَى أُولَئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ قَالَ: أنا منهم، وعمر منهم وعثمان منهم والزبير منهم، وطلحة منهم، وعبد الرحمن منهم أو قال: سعد منهم، قَالَ: وأقيمت الصلاة فقام، وأظنه يجر ثوبه، وهو يَقُولُ لا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا «٤» .
قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: لا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الأَكْبَرُ
١٣٧٤٩ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: لا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الأَكْبَرُ يَعْنِي النفخة الآخرة «٥» .
١٣٧٥٠ - عَنِ الحَسَنِ لا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الأَكْبَرُ قَالَ: انصراف الْعَبْد حين يؤمر به إِلَى النَّار «٦» .
١٣٧٥١ - عَنِ السُّدِّىِّ قَالَ: السجل ملك موكل بالصحف، فإذا مات دفع كتابه إِلَى السجل فطواه ورفعه إلى يوم القيامة.
