Translation · EN

15225 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh reported to me, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying regarding the saying of Allah: "Then We made the sun for it an indication," he said: "It brought that shadow out and took it away."

His saying, the Exalted: "Then We withdrew it to Us."

15226 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid: "Then We withdrew it to Us," the sun encompassed it.

15227 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Kathir al-'Abdi reported to us, Sulayman (meaning his brother) informed us, from Husayn, from Abu Malik: "We withdrew it to Us," He withdrew it when it rises.

15228 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Shayban reported to us, Mubarak reported to us, from al-Hasan: "Then We withdrew it to Us with a slight withdrawal," he said: "The withdrawal is for the shadow."

His saying, the Exalted: "a slight withdrawal."

15229 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "a slight withdrawal," he says: "Rapid."

And the Second View:

15230 - My father narrated to us, Abu Nu'aym reported to us, Sufyan reported to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Rufay', from Mujahid: "Then We withdrew it to Us with a slight withdrawal," he said: "Hidden."

15231 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali ibn Mihran reported to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Then We withdrew it to Us with a slight withdrawal," he says: "A hidden withdrawal, until no shadow remains on the earth except under a roof or under a tree, and it has already shaded what is above it."

15232 - My father narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sulayman ibn Nadlah al-Khuza'i reported to us, from Muslim ibn Khalid, from Ayyub ibn Musa regarding His saying: "Then We withdrew it to Us with a slight withdrawal," he said: "Little by little."

15233 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas regarding His saying: "He extended the shadow," he said: "The shadow is between the rising of the dawn until the sun rises. Throughout all of that, it is a shadow. Then the sun was made an indication for it, then the Lord withdrew it."

١٥٢٢٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلا قَالَ أَخْرَجَتْ ذَلِكَ الظِّلَّ فَذَهَبَتْ بِهِ.

قَوْلُهُ تعالى: ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا

١٥٢٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا حَوَى الشَّمْسُ إِيَّاهُ.

١٥٢٢٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِى أَخَاهُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ: قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبَضَهُ حِينَ تَطْلُعُ.

١٥٢٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، ثَنَا مُبَارَكٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ: ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا قَالَ: الْقَبْضُ لِلظِّلِّ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا

١٥٢٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قوله: قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا يَقُولُ: سَرِيعًا.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:

١٥٢٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ «٢» ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ابن رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا قَالَ: خَفِيًّا.

١٥٢٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قوله: ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا يَقُولُ: قَبْضًا خَفِيًّا حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ ظِلٌّ إِلا تَحْتَ سَقْفٍ أَوْ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ، وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْ مَا فَوْقَهُ

١٥٢٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى فِي قَوْلِهِ: ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا قَالَ: قَلِيلا قَلِيلا

١٥٢٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: مَدَّ الظِّلَّ قَالَ: الظِّلُّ فِيمَا بَيْنَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فِيمَا ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ ظِلٌّ ثُمَّ جُعِلَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلا، ثُمَّ قَبَضَهُ الرَّبُّ
