His saying, the Almighty: "Then ask about Him by one well-informed"

15302 - Al-Mundhir ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Zakariyya ibn 'Adi reported to us, Ibn 'Uyaynah informed us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding the word of Allah: "Then ask about Him by one well-informed," he said: Whatever I have informed you of is as I have informed you.

15303 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah, 'Uthman, and Abu 'Amir ibn Murrad narrated to us; they said: Ishaq ibn Mansur informed us, Ya'qub al-Qummi reported to us, from Abu 'Ubaydah - Abu Muhammad said: Thus he said, but it is actually 'Ubayd ibn Humayd - from Shimr ibn 'Atiyyah: "The Most Merciful, then ask about Him by one well-informed," he said: This Quran is the one well-informed.

His saying, the Almighty: "And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Merciful,' they say, 'And what is the Most Merciful?'"

15304 - Al-Fadl ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Musa reported to us, Ibn Abi Za'idah informed us, Isra'il informed me, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: There is no one who is called 'the Most Merciful' (al-Rahman) other than Him.

15305 - Al-Fadl ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Sahl ibn 'Uthman al-'Askari reported to us, Mahbub, meaning Ibn Muhammad al-Qawariri, reported to us, from Talhah, from 'Ata': "And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Merciful,' they say, 'And what is the Most Merciful? We do not know the Most Merciful except for the Rahman of al-Yamamah,'" so Allah (Mighty and Majestic) revealed: "And your god is one God; there is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Most Merciful, the Ever-Merciful."

15306 - Al-Fadl ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Yazid al-Hulwani reported to us, Harun ibn Hatim reported to us, he said: I heard Husayn al-Ju'fi say regarding "And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Merciful,' they say, 'And what is the Most Merciful?'" He said: Its answer is: "The Most Merciful. [It is He who] has taught the Qur'an."

His saying, the Almighty: "Shall we prostrate to that which you order us? And it increased them in aversion."

15307 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr Junayj reported to us, Salamah reported to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, he said: And Allah revealed to His Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding their saying: It has reached us that he is only being taught this which he brings by a man from the people of al-Yamamah who is called
