His saying, the Almighty: "And He has placed therein a lamp."
15313 - Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Ahmad ibn al-Sabah reported to us, Ali ibn Hafs reported to us, Habban ibn Ali reported to us, from Sa'd ibn Tarif, from al-Asbagh ibn Nubatah, from Ali, regarding His saying: "And He has placed therein a lamp," he said: "When the sun rises, its face illuminates for the seven heavens, and its back illuminates for the people of the earth."
15314 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi informed us, in what he wrote to me, that al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi reported, from Shayban, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And He has placed therein a lamp," he said: "A lamp, [which is] the sun."
His saying: "And a luminous moon."
15315 - 'Ubayd ibn Muhammad ibn Hamzah informed us, in what he wrote to me, that Abu al-Jamahir reported, from Sa'id ibn Bashir, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And a luminous moon," i.e., shining.
His saying, the Almighty: "And it is He who has made the night and the day as alternating for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude."
15316 - Ahmad ibn Sinan al-Wasiti narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi reported to us, from Sufyan, from his father, from 'Ikrimah, he said: Ibn 'Abbas was asked: "Was the night before, or the day?" He said: "Have you considered the heavens when they were a closed entity? Was there anything between them except darkness? That is so that you may know that the night was before the day."
15317 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salamah reported to us, from Hammad, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from 'Ikrimah, that the Jews said to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): "What is the day of Friday?" He said: "Allah created the night and the day during two hours of it."
15318 - Abu 'Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Hammad al-Tihrani informed us, in what he wrote to me, that Isma'il ibn 'Abd al-Karim reported, 'Abd al-Samad ibn Ma'qil informed me that he heard his uncle Wahb ibn Munabbih saying that 'Uzayr said: "O Allah, by Your word You created all Your creation, and it came to be upon Your will. You did not experience any fatigue in it, nor were You weary in it. Your Throne was upon the water, and [there was] darkness, air, and the angels who carry Your Throne and praise You, and the creation is obedient to You, humble from fear of You. No light is seen therein except Your light, and no sound is heard therein except Your hearing. Then the treasury of light and the path of darkness were opened, and they became night and day, alternating by Your command."
قوله تعالى: وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا
١٥٣١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، ثنا حَبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، عَنِ الأَصْبَغِ بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ يَعْنِى قوله وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا قَالَ: إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَتْ أَضَاءَ وَجْهُهَا لسبع سماوات وَقَفَاهَا لأَهْلِ الأَرْضِ.
١٥٣١٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ الطُّوسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا قَالَ: سِرَاجًا شَمْسًا
قوله: وَقَمَرًا مُنِيرًا
١٥٣١٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ
قَوْلُهُ: وَقَمَرًا مُنِيرًا أَيْ مُضِيئًا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الليل والنهار خلفة
١٥٣١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْلِ كَانَ قَبْلُ أَوِ النَّهَارُ؟
قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتُمُ السماوات حَيْثُ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا هَلْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُمَا إِلا ظُلْمَةٌ. ذَلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّيْلَ كَانَ قَبْلَ النَّهَارِ.
١٥٣١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ قَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ؟ قَالَ: خَلَقَ اللَّهُ فِي سَاعَتَيْنِ مِنْهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ.
١٥٣١٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ مَعْقِلٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمَّهُ وَهْبَ بْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ عزير: اللَّهُمَّ بِكَلِمَتِكَ خَلَقْتَ جَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ فَأَتَى عَلَى مَشِيئَتِكَ لَمْ تَأْنِ فِيهِ مُؤْنَةً وَلَمْ تَنْصَبَ فِيهِ نَصَبًا كَانَ عَرْشُكَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ وَالظُّلْمَةُ وَالْهَوَاءِ وَالْمَلائِكَةُ يَحْمِلُونَ عَرْشَكَ وَيُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِكَ وَالْخَلْقُ مُطِيعٌ لَكَ خاشعٌ مِنْ خَوْفِكَ، لَا يُرَى فِيهِ نُورٌ إِلا نُورَكَ وَلا يُسْمَعُ فِيهِ صَوْتٌ إِلَّا سَمْعَكَ ثُمَّ فُتِحَتْ خِزَانَةُ النُّورِ وَطَرِيقُ الظُّلْمَةِ فَكَانَا لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا يَخْتَلِفَانِ بِأَمْرِكَ.
