15457 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi reported to us, 'Uthman ibn al-Yaman reported to us, from Abu Bakr ibn Abi 'Awn, from 'Amr ibn Qays al-Mula'i regarding "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: Assemblies of evil.

The sixth interpretation:

15458 - It was mentioned from 'Amr ibn 'Ali, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, from 'Umarah ibn Abi Hafsah, from 'Ikrimah regarding "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: A game that existed in the Pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah).

The seventh interpretation:

15459 - It was mentioned from 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ziyad al-Qatawani, Zayd ibn Hubab reported to us, from al-Husayn ibn Waqid, from Khalid ibn Kathir regarding "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: An assembly in which the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was insulted.

The eighth interpretation:

15460 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi informed us in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi reported to us, Shayban reported to us, from Qatadah regarding "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: Lying.

15461 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh reported to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding the saying of Allah: "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: Falsehood is their speech to their deities and their glorification of them, and what they were upon of vanity. And he recited: "And avoid the saying of falsehood."

The ninth interpretation:

15462 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi reported to us, Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti reported to us, from a man, from al-Hasan regarding "And those who do not bear witness to falsehood," he said: Singing and wailing; he does not burn his hearing with it, nor does his heart find comfort in it, nor does he desire it.

15463 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu al-Husayn al-'Ukli reported to us, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, Ibrahim ibn Maysarah informed me that Ibn Mas'ud passed by some vain talk (lahw) and did not stop, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Ibn Umm 'Abd has surely become noble, or has ended his day as a noble person."
