For the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—was eager for all people to believe and to follow him upon guidance, so Allah informed him that none will believe except those for whom happiness was decreed by Allah in the First Remembrance (the Preserved Tablet), and none will go astray except those for whom wretchedness was decreed by Allah in the First Remembrance.
