Moses went out with the Children of Israel until, when the sea confronted him and there was no way to turn aside, Pharaoh appeared with his soldiers from behind them. When the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Moses said: "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"

"And after you have come to us, today Pharaoh overtakes us and kills us; indeed, we are to be overtaken! The sea is before us and Pharaoh is behind us." Moses said: "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me."
