15701 - Hajjaj ibn Hamza narrated to us, Shababa reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding "will forgive me my fault on the Day of Judgment," and His saying: "Indeed, I am ill," and His saying: "Rather, the largest of them did it," and His saying to Sarah, "She is my sister," when one of the Pharaohs wanted to take her.

15702 - Yahya ibn Habib ibn Isma'il ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Habib ibn Abi Thabit narrated to us, Abu Usama reported to us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Abraham did not lie except on three occasions, two of which were for the sake of Allah: His saying, 'Indeed, I am ill,' and His saying, 'Rather, the largest of them did it.'" He said: "While he was traveling through the land of a tyrant among the tyrants, with Sarah by his side..." The complete hadith is written in Surat al-Anbiya'.

15703 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatada, regarding His saying: "And the One whom I hope will forgive me my fault on the Day of Judgment," he said: He said, "The Friend of Allah does not say what you hear—it is not as the people of fabrication and lies say: 'So-and-so is in the Fire, and so-and-so is in Paradise.'"

15704 - 'Ali ibn Tahir narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-'Ala' reported to us, 'Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Zayyat reported to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah reported to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "Day of Judgment"—it is the day of the reckoning of the creations, and it is the Day of Resurrection, wherein He will judge them according to their deeds. If they are good, then it is good, and if they are evil, then it is evil, except for those whom He pardons.

15705 - My father narrated to us, Mahmud ibn Ghaylan reported to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah reported to us, from Humayd al-A'raj, regarding the saying of Allah: "Day of Judgment," he said: The day of recompense.

His saying: "My Lord, grant me wisdom [hukman]."

15706 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' reported to us, from Isma'il ibn Muslim, from 'Ikrimah, regarding His saying: "Grant me wisdom [hukman]," he said: The wisdom [hukm] is the intellect [al-lubb].
