[His saying, the Almighty: 'To Him prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth.']
13810 - From Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the verse, he said: 'The prostration of every thing is its shadow, and the prostration of the mountains is their shadow.'
13811 - From Mujahid, he said: 'The garment prostrates.'
13812 - From al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: 'When the shadow lengthens, there does not remain any beast or bird but that it falls prostrate before Allah.'
13813 - From Amr ibn Dinar (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: 'I heard a man circumambulating the House [Kaaba] and weeping, and behold, it was Tawus! So I said: "Are you amazed at my weeping?" I replied: "Yes." He said: "By the Lord of this structure, this moon weeps out of fear of Allah, even though it has committed no sin."
His saying, the Almighty: "And many among the people."
13814 - From Tawus (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the verse, he said: 'He did not except anyone from these [the believers], until when He reached the son of Adam, He excepted him and said: "And many among the people." He said: "And those most deserving of gratitude are the majority of them."
13815 - From Ali that it was said to him: "There is a man here speaking about the Divine Will (al-mashiyyah)." So Ali said to him: "O servant of Allah, did Allah create you for what He wills or for what you will?" He replied: "Rather, for what He wills." He said: "Does He make you ill when He wills or when you will?" He replied: "Rather, when He wills." He said: "Does He heal you when He wills or when you will?" He replied: "Rather, when He wills." He said: "Does He cause you to enter Paradise where He wills or where you will?" He replied: "Rather, where He wills." He said: "By Allah, if you had said anything other than that, I would have struck that which is between your eyes with the sword."
His saying, the Almighty: "These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord."
13816 - From Abu [al-Aliyah] (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to swear an oath that this verse: "These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord" until His saying: "Indeed, Allah does what He intends" was revealed concerning the three and the three who dueled on the day of Badr, and they are: Hamzah ibn Abd al-Muttalib, Ubaydah ibn al-Harith.

[قوله تعالى: يسجد له من في السماوات]
١٣٨١٠ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي الْآيَةِ قَالَ: سجود كُلّ شيء فيئه، وسجود الجبال فيئها.
١٣٨١١ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: الثوب يسجد «١» .
١٣٨١٢ - عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: إِذَا فاء الفيئ لَمْ يبق شيء مِنْ دابة ولا طائر إلا خر لله ساجدًا «٢» .
١٣٨١٣ - عَنْ عَمْرو بْن دِينَار رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سمعت رَجُلاً يطوف بالبيت ويبكي، فإذا هُوَ طَاوُسٍ! فقال: عجبت مِنْ بكائي؟ قلت: نعم، قَالَ: ورب هذه البنية، إِنَّ هَذَا القمر ليبكي مِنْ خشية الله ولا ذنب لَهُ «٣» .
قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: وَكَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ
١٣٨١٤ - عَنْ طَاوُسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ في الآية قَالَ: لَمْ يستثن مِنْ هؤلاء أحدًا حتى إِذَا جاء ابن آدم استثناه فقال: وَكَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ قَالَ: والذي أحق بالشكر هُوَ أكثرهم «٤» .
١٣٨١٥ - عَنْ علي أنه قيل له: إن هاهنا رَجُلاً يتكلم في المشيئة. فقال لَهُ علي:
يا عَبْد الله خلقك الله، لما يشاء أو لما شئت؟ قَالَ: بل لما يشاء. قَالَ: فيمرضك إِذَا شاء أو إِذَا شئت؟ قَالَ: بل إِذَا شاء. قَالَ: فيشفيك إِذَا شاء أو إِذَا شئت؟ قَالَ: بل إِذَا شاء. قَالَ: فيدخلك الْجَنَّة حيث شاء أو حيث شئت؟ قَالَ: بل حيث شاء. قَالَ:
والله لو قلت غير ذَلِكَ لضربت الّذِي فيه عيناك بالسيف «٥» .
قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ
١٣٨١٦ - عَنْ أَبِي رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أنه كَانَ يقسم قسمًا إِنَّ هذه الآية هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ نزلت في الثلاثة والثلاثة الذين تبارزوا يَوْم بدر، وهم: حمزة بن عبد المطلب، وعبيدة بن الحارث
