the people of Islam over those who opposed them, and Allah revealed: "These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord," until His saying: "the punishment of the Burning Fire."
His saying: "Garments of fire will be cut out for them."
13820 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Garments of fire will be cut out for them," he said: "They are made of copper, and there is nothing from the utensils that, when heated, is more intense in heat than it." Regarding His saying: "Boiling water will be poured down over their heads," he said: "Molten copper is poured over their heads." Regarding His saying: "By which will be melted that which is in their bellies," he said: "Their intestines and skins will flow away." He said: "Their skins will disintegrate, so that each limb will stand on its own."
13821 - From Ibrahim al-Taymi, that he recited His saying: "Garments of fire will be cut out for them," and said: "Exalted is He who cut garments out of fire."
His saying: "Boiling water will be poured down over their heads."
13822 - From Abu Hurayrah, that he recited this verse and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The boiling water is poured over their heads and it penetrates the skull until it reaches his inside, melting what is in his inside until it passes out from his feet; that is the melting, then he is restored as he was."
13823 - From al-Suddi, he said: The angel comes to him carrying the vessel, and it has two handles due to its extreme heat. When he brings it near his face, he dislikes it, so he raises a mace he has and strikes his head with it, shattering his brain. Then he pours the vessel's contents onto his brain, and it reaches his inside from his brain. That is the meaning of His saying: "By which will be melted that which is in their bellies, and (their) skins."
13824 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr, he said: When the people of the Fire come into the Fire, they will call for relief from the Zaqqum tree and eat from it, and the skins of their faces will melt off. If a passerby were to pass by them who knew them, he would recognize them by the skins of their faces. Then thirst will be poured upon them, and they will call for relief, and they will be relieved with water like molten copper, which is that from which the skins have fallen off; and by it, what is in their bellies is melted. They will walk while their intestines are falling out along with their skins. Then they will be struck with maces of iron, and every limb will fall off on its own, as they call out for destruction and woe.
13825 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "By which will be melted that which is in their bellies, and (their) skins," he said:
