They walk while their intestines and skins fall away. Regarding His saying: "And for them are maces of iron," he said: "They are struck with them, and every limb falls off on its own."
13826 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "By which will be melted that which is in their bellies," he said: "It is melted, truly melted."
13827 - From 'Ata' al-Khurasani regarding His saying: "By which will be melted," he said: "It is melted just as fat is melted."
His saying: "And for them are maces."
13828 - From al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "And for them are maces," he said: "Hammers."
13829 - From Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "If a mace of iron were placed on the earth and both the jinn and mankind were to gather, they would not be able to lift it from the earth, and if a mountain were struck with a mace of iron, it would crumble, then be restored as it was."
His saying: "Every time they want to get out of it."
13830 - From Salman, he said: "The Fire is black and dark; its flames and coals do not illuminate." Then he recited: "Every time they want to get out of it from anguish, they are returned into it."
13831 - From Abu Ja'far al-Qari', that he recited this verse: "Every time they want to get out of it from anguish," and he wept and said: "Zayd ibn Aslam informed me regarding this verse that the people of the Fire in the Fire do not breathe."
13832 - From al-Fudayl ibn 'Ayyash regarding the verse, he said: "By Allah, they have no hope of exiting, because their feet are fettered and their hands are shackled, but its flames lift them up and its maces return them."
His saying: "And their garments therein will be silk."
13833 - From Ibn al-Zubayr, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter." Ibn al-Zubayr said on his own accord: "And whoever does not wear it in the Hereafter will not enter Paradise, because Allah the Exalted said: 'And their garments therein will be silk.'"
