His saying: "And they are guided to good speech."
13834 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "And they are guided to good speech," he said: "They are inspired."
13835 - From Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "And they are guided to good speech," he said: "In argumentation, when they said: 'Allah is our protector, and there is no protector for you.'"
13856 - From Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid regarding "And they are guided to good speech," he said: "Sincerity." Regarding "And they are guided to the path of the Praiseworthy," he said: "Islam."
13857 - From Ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "And they are guided to good speech," he said: "'There is no god but Allah,' 'Allah is the Greatest,' and 'There is no power nor strength except by Allah,' which is what He said: 'To Him ascends good speech.'"
His saying: "Equal [are] the resident [therein] and the visitor."
13858 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "Equal," meaning one regulation. "The resident therein," he said: "The people of Makkah in Makkah during the days of Hajj." "And the visitor," he said: "Those who are not of its people who retreat there from the horizons." He said: "They are equal in the dwellings of Makkah, so it is incumbent upon the people of Makkah to make space for them until they complete their rituals."
13859 - From Ibn Abbas regarding the verse, he said: "The visitor and the people of Makkah are equal in the housing and the Sanctuary."
13860 - From Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: "Equal are the resident therein and the visitor," he said: "The one who resides and the one who departs are equal."
13861 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "Equal are the resident therein and the visitor," he said: "The people of Makkah and others descend into the Sacred Mosque."
His saying: "And whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [with] injustice."
13862 - From Ibn Mas'ud, in a marfu' (elevated) narration regarding His saying: "And whoever intends [a deed] therein of deviation [with] injustice," he said: "If a man were to intend therein an act of deviation while he were in 'Aden Abyan, Allah the Exalted would make him taste a painful punishment."
