13619 - From Qatadah regarding His statement: "If We had intended to take a diversion," he said: Diversion (lahw) in the language of the people of Yemen is a woman. And regarding His statement: "We would have taken it from Us, if We were to do so," meaning: That would not happen, nor is it appropriate.
13620 - From Ibrahim al-Nakha'i regarding His statement: "If We had intended to take a diversion," he said: Women. "We would have taken it from Us," he said: From among the Houris (fair-skinned, beautiful women of Paradise).
13621 - From Ibn Abbas regarding His statement: "If We had intended to take a diversion," he said: Play.
13622 - From Mujahid regarding His statement: "We would have taken it from Us," he said: From Our own presence. "If We were to do so," meaning: We would not have done so. He says: And We did not create a Paradise, nor a Fire, nor death, nor resurrection, nor a reckoning. And every "in" (in) in the Quran is a denial.
The Statement of the Exalted: "Rather, We dash the truth against falsehood, and it destroys it..."
13623 - From Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His statement: "Rather, We dash the truth," he said: The Quran, "against falsehood," he said: The confusion. "And behold, it is departing," he said: Perishing.
13624 - From al-Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding His statement: "And for you is destruction from that which you describe," he said: By Allah, it is a description of lies until the Day of Resurrection.
The Statement of the Exalted: "And those who are near Him are not too proud to worship Him, nor do they weary."
13625 - From Qatadah regarding His statement: "And those who are near Him," he said: The angels.
13626 - From Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His statement: "Nor do they weary (yastahsirun)," he says: They do not turn back.

١٣٦١٩ - عَنْ قَتَادَة فِي قَوْلِهِ: لَوْ أَرَدْنَا إِنَّ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا قَالَ: اللهو بلغة أَهْل اليمن: المرأة، وفي قوله: إِنَّ كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ أي، إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لا يكون ولا ينبغي «١» .
١٣٦٢٠ - عَنِ إبراهيم النخعي فِي قَوْلِهِ: لَوْ أَرَدْنَا إِنَّ نتخذ لهوا قال: نساء.
لاتخذناه من لدنا قال: من الحور العين «٢» .
١٣٦٢١ - عن ابن عباس فِي قَوْلِهِ: لَوْ أَرَدْنَا إِنَّ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا قَالَ: لعبًا «٣» .
١٣٦٢٢ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: لاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِنْ لَدُنَّا قَالَ: مِنْ عندنا إِنَّ كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ أي مَا كنا فاعلين. يَقُولُ: وما خلقنا جنة ولا نارًا ولا موتًا ولا بعثًا ولا حسابًا، وكل شيء في القرآن إِنْ فهو إنكار «٤» .

١٣٦٢٣ - عَنْ قَتَادَة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ قَالَ: القرآن عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ قَالَ: اللبس فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ قَالَ: هالك «٥» .
١٣٦٢٤ - عَنِ الحَسَنِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ قَالَ:
هي والله واصف كذب إِلَى يَوْم الْقِيَامَة «٦» .
قَوْلهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ لا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ

١٣٦٢٦ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ يَقُولُ:
لا يرجعون «٨» .
١٣٦٢٧ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ قَالَ: لا يحسرون «٩» .
١٣٦٢٨ - عَنِ السُّدِّىِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ قَالَ: لا يعيون «١٠» .
١٣٦٢٩ - عَنِ السُّدِّىِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ قَالَ: لا ينقطعون من العبادة «١١» .
