Translation · EN

some of them said to others: "Fight the companions of Muhammad, for they forbid fighting in the sacred month." And the companions of Muhammad implored them and reminded them of Allah not to initiate fighting against them, for they do not permit fighting in the sacred month unless someone initiates it against them. But the polytheists initiated it and fought them, so the companions permitted fighting them at that point. They fought them, and Allah granted them victory over them (1).

14022 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: Allah created the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz) a distance of one hundred years' journey. He said to the Pen, before He created the creation and while He was on the Throne: "Write." It said: "What shall I write?" He said: "My knowledge of My creation until the day the Hour is established." So the Pen ran with what is to be in the knowledge of Allah
