16449 - Hammad ibn al-Hasan ibn 'Anbasah narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from 'Awn ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah, that his father was asked: "Did Solomon marry the woman, the owner of Sheba?" He said: "My latest knowledge of her was when she said: 'I have submitted along with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.'"
His saying, the Exalted: "And We have surely sent."
16450 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Isra'il, from al-Suddi, from Abu Salih, [regarding] "We have sent": [meaning] We have dispatched.
His saying: "To Thamud their brother Salih."
Its interpretation has already preceded.
His saying, the Exalted: "That you worship Allah."
16451 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salama ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said: Regarding what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: His saying "Worship Allah," meaning: Declare the oneness of your Lord.
His saying, the Exalted: "Then behold, they are two parties contending."
16452 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "Two parties contending": [meaning] a believer and a disbeliever. His saying: "Salih is sent by his Lord" and his saying: "He is not sent."
16453 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray', narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding his saying: "Then behold, they are two parties contending," [meaning] behold, the people were between a believer and a denier: one believing in the truth and holding fast to it, and one denying the truth and abandoning it. In this was the contention of the people.
16454 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid. His saying: "You seek to hasten the evil," [meaning] the evil: the punishment. And his saying: "Before the good," [meaning] before the mercy.
16455 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah al-Harawi narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid, [regarding] "the good," he said: Well-being (al-'afiyah).

١٦٤٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَنْبَسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهَ سُئِلَ: هَلْ كَانَ سُلَيْمَانُ تَزَوَّجَ الْمَرْأَةَ صَاحِبَةَ سَبَأٍ؟
فقال: عهدي بها وهي تقول أسلمت مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا
١٦٤٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ أَرْسَلَ: بَعَثَ.
قَوْلُهُ: إِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا
قَدْ تَقَدَّمَ تَفْسِيرُهُ.
قَوْلُه تَعَالَى: أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهِ
١٦٤٥١ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: فِيمَا حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَوْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: قَوْلَهُ: اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ أَيْ: وَحِّدُوا رَبَّكُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
١٦٤٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» قوله: فريقان يختصمون: مؤمن، وكافر، قوله: صالحا مُرْسَلٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ، وَقَوْلُهُ لَيْسَ بِمُرْسَلٍ.
١٦٤٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ فَإِذَا الْقَوْمُ بَيْنَ مُصَدِّقٍ وَمُكَذِّبٍ: مُصَدِّقٌ بِالْحَقِّ وَنَازِلٌ عِنْدَهُ وَمُكَذِّبٌ بِالْحَقِّ وَتَارِكُهُ، فِي ذَلِكَ كَانَتْ خُصُومَةُ الْقَوْمِ.
١٦٤٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «٢»
قَوْلُهُ: تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ السيئة: الْعَذَابِ، وَقَوْلُهُ: قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ: قَبْلَ الرَّحْمَةِ.
١٦٤٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَرَوِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مجاهد الحسنة قال: العافية.
