His saying, the Exalted: "While they were unaware."
16728 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us: 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us: Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "While they were unaware" [meaning] that she was his sister.
16729 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us: al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us: Yazid narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding "While they were unaware" that she was his sister, he said: "She began to look at him as if she were not seeking him."
16730 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us: Salamah narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq regarding "While they were unaware" [meaning] they did not know that she had any connection to him.
16731 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Abi al-Thalj narrated to us: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Asbagh ibn Zayd informed us: al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us: Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrated to us, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "So she watched him from a distance, while they were unaware." The 'junub' is when a person's gaze falls upon a distant object while he is at its side, without them being aware of it.
His saying, the Exalted: "And We had prevented him from wet nurses before."
16732 - Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-A'mash, from Hassan—meaning Abu al-Ashras—from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "And We had prevented him from wet nurses before," he said: "No wet nurse was brought to him but that he refused her."
16733 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us: 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us: Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding the saying of Allah: "And We had prevented him from wet nurses before." They sought wet nurses for him, but he would not take from any of the women. Women began to seek this in order to reside with Pharaoh during the nursing, but he refused to accept [them].
His saying, the Exalted: "And she said, 'Shall I guide you to a household that will be responsible for him for you, while they are to him sincere?'"
16734 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us: Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said: They gathered the wet nurses for him when Allah cast their love for him into them. No woman was brought [to him] but that he would reject her breast, which distressed them. Wet nurse after wet nurse was brought, but he would not accept any of them. His sister, when she saw their intense love for him and their eagerness for him, said: "Shall I guide you to a household that will be responsible for him for you, while they are to him sincere?"
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُون
١٦٧٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَنَّهَا أُخْتُهُ.
١٦٧٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُونَ أَنَّهَا أُخْتُهُ قَالَ: جَعَلَتْ تَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَأَنَّهَا لَا تُرِيدُهُ.
١٦٧٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيْ لَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَنَّهَا مِنْهُ بِسَبِيلٍ.
١٦٧٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الثَّلْجِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ أَصْبَغُ ابن زَيْدٍ، ثنا الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جبير، عن ابن عباس فبصرت بِهِ عَنْ جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُونَ وَالْجُنُبُ أَنْ يَسْمُوَ بَصَرُ الإِنْسَانِ إِلَى الشَّيْءِ الْبَعِيدِ وَهُوَ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ لَا يَشْعُرُ بِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِنْ قَبْلُ
١٦٧٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ يَعْنِي أَبَا الأَشْرَسِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِنْ قَبْلُ قَالَ: لَا يُؤْتَى بِمُرْضِعٍ فَيَقْبَلُهَا.
١٦٧٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَرَادُوا لَهُ الْمُرْضِعَاتِ، فَلَمْ يَأْخُذْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ، وَجَعَلَ النِّسَاءُ يَطْلُبْنَ ذَلِكَ لَيَنْزِلْنَ، عِنْدَ فِرْعَوْنَ فِي الرَّضَاعِ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْخُذَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُ لَكُمْ وهم له ناصحون
١٦٧٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: وَجَمَعُوا لَهُ الْمَرَاضِعَ، حِينَ أَلْقَى اللَّهُ مَحَبَّتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَلا يُؤْتَى بِامْرَأَةٍ فَيَقْبَلُ ثَدْيَهَا فَيُرْمِضُهُمْ ذَلِكَ، فَيُؤْتَى بِمُرْضِعٍ بَعْدَ مُرْضَعٍ فَلا يَقْبَلُ شَيْئًا مِنْهُنَّ، فَقَالَتْ أُخْتُهُ حِينَ رَأَتْ مِنْ وَجْدِهِمْ بِهِ وَحِرْصِهِمْ عَلَيْهِ: هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُ لَكُمْ، وَهُمْ لَهُ نَاصِحُونَ.
