His saying, the Exalted: "While they are to him sincere."
16735 - Muhammad ibn Abi al-Thalj narrated to us: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Asbagh ibn Zayd informed us: al-Qasim ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us: Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrated to us, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "While they are to him sincere," [saying] that they took her and said: "What makes you know their sincerity toward him and their affection for him? Do they know him?" They were even doubtful about that. She replied: "Their sincerity toward him and their affection for him is their desire for the King's alliance, in the hope of [gaining] a benefit." So they sent her [to fetch her].
16736 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us: 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us: Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "While they are to him sincere," [saying] that they took her and said: "You have recognized this boy, so guide us to his family." She said: "I do not know him, but they are only sincere to the King." When his mother came, he accepted [nursing] from her.
16737 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us: Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq regarding "While they are to him sincere," meaning: due to his status with you, and her eagerness for the King's pleasure. They said: "Yes, so bring her."
His saying, the Exalted: "So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve."
Its explanation has already preceded in Surah Taha.
16738 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas narrated to us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Salamah, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq: She went to his mother and informed her. She set out with her until she came to them, and they handed him over to her. When she placed him in her lap, he took her breast, and they were pleased with that from him. Allah restored him to his mother so that her eye would be comforted and she would not grieve, and so that she would know that the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know. Thus, the kindness of Allah reached her and him in that He restored her son to her, and made the benefit of Pharaoh and his household incline toward her, along with what Allah bestowed upon him regarding [protection from] the killing that others feared. It was as if he were from the house of the family of Pharaoh, in safety and comfort, and he was upon the beds and couches of Pharaoh in his house.
16739 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Sa'id al-'Attar narrated to us: Zakariyya ibn 'Adiy narrated to us, from Hafs—meaning al-Basri—from Abu 'Imran al-Jawni, who said: Pharaoh used to give the mother of Moses a dinar every day for nursing Moses.

مَا أَعْرِفُهُ وَلَكِنْ إِنَّمَا هُمْ لِلْمَلِكِ نَاصِحُونَ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ أُمُّهُ أَخَذَ مِنْهَا.
