Pharaoh was approached and it was said to him: "The Children of Israel have killed a man from the family of Pharaoh, so take our right for us and do not be lenient." He said: "Bring me his killer and whoever testifies against him, for a king, even if he is the elite among his people, it is not appropriate for him to execute without proof or evidence. So find out the truth of this for me, and I will take his right for you."

16784 - My father narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Kathir al-'Abdi narrated to us: Sulayman ibn Kathir reported: Husayn reported, from Abu Malik, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And behold, the one who sought his help yesterday was crying out to him. Moses said to him, 'Indeed, you are a clear deviant,'" he said: It is the companion of Moses who sought his help yesterday.
