16803 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi reported, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And when he directed himself toward Madyan," and Madyan was a spring that the people of Shu'ayb were at.
His saying, the Exalted: "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way."
16804 - Abu Harun al-Khazzaz narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn al-Jahm narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Abi Qays narrated to us, from Bashir ibn 'Asim, from Ibn Abi 'Ali, from al-Qasim ibn Abi Bazzah, from Mujahid, regarding "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way," [he said]: The path to Madyan.

He said: So, by Allah, on that day, the best people of the earth met: A man from the people of Shu'ayb, and Moses son of 'Imran.
16806 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Musa narrated to us, a man he named narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way," he said: The middle of the path.

16808 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi who said: Moses, while he was heading toward Madyan, said: "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way." He said: The angel went with him until he reached Madyan.
His saying, the Exalted: "And when he arrived at the water of Madyan."
