17081 - My father narrated to us, Rashid ibn Sa‘id al-Maqdisi and Ayyub ibn Muhammad al-Wazzan both said: Damrah narrated to us, from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Ata’, from his father, regarding His saying: "And We gave him of the treasures"—he said: He obtained a treasure from the treasures of Joseph.
17082 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, al-Mu‘afa ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Musa ibn A‘yan narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Zurwan, regarding His saying: "And We gave him of the treasures"—he said: Qarun used to practice alchemy.

17083 - ‘Amr ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Awdi narrated to us, Waki‘ narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from Khaythamah, who said: The keys to the treasures of Qarun were made of leather; each key was the size of a finger, and each key was for a separate storehouse. When he would ride, the keys were carried on sixty white-faced, white-footed mules.
17084 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Abu Dawud, meaning al-Hafari, narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-A‘mash, from Khaythamah, regarding "...that its keys..."—he said: The keys were made of leather, and forty white-faced, white-footed mules carried them.
17085 - Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Yazid al-Muqri’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Humayd, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "...that its keys would burden a company of strong men"—the keys were made of camel hide.
17086 - ‘Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Hisinjani narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Husayn ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Husayn ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, who said: I asked Abu Razin about His saying: "...that its keys..."—he said: His storehouses. And it was narrated from al-Suddi the same.
17087 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Numayr, Abu Bakr, and ‘Uthman, the sons of Abi Shaybah, informed us—they said: Waki‘ narrated to us, from Abu Hujayr, from al-Dahhak, regarding "...that its keys..."—he said: His containers.
17088 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Khalid ibn ‘Abd Allah narrated to us, Husayn narrated to us, from Abu Razin, regarding His saying: "...that its keys..."—he said: If there were one key, it would have sufficed the people of Kufa; he only means his treasures.
