The third interpretation:
17104 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih the scribe of al-Layth narrated to us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant"—he says: The arrogant. It was also narrated from Qatadah similarly.
17105 - ‘Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali narrated to us, ‘Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant"—he said: Indeed, Allah does not like the one who is exultant due to insolence.
His saying, Exalted is He: "But seek, with that which Allah has bestowed upon you, the Home of the Hereafter"
17106 - Through the same chain, from al-Suddi, regarding "But seek, with that which Allah has bestowed upon you, the Home of the Hereafter"—he said: Give charity, draw near to Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, and maintain family ties.
His saying, Exalted is He: "And do not forget your share of the world"

17107 - Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A‘mash, from a man, from Ibn ‘Abbas, regarding "And do not forget your share of the world"—he said: That you should work in it for your Hereafter.
17108 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "And do not forget your share of the world"—he says: Do not neglect working for Allah while in this world.
17109 - Abu ‘Ubayd Allah Hammad ibn al-Hasan ibn ‘Anbasah narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Warqa’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding "And do not forget your share of the world"—he said: That you should work in it through obedience to Me.
17110 - My father narrated to us, ‘Ali ibn Hashim narrated to us, ‘Ammar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "And do not forget your share of the world"—he said: Your lifespan, in which you work for your Hereafter.
